Anyone else seeing a problem with this? According to the file there are several DTW CR7 CAs that are junior to me and I'm assuming a few others. I've bid every possible CA position first, but didn't get the DTW award.

Did you have your bid in before she took the current list last night at 6PM? It also shows 59 capts in dtw. I thought it was 56? I know one thing: Jenn Junger is an upgrade over Brian Morris for sure.

I would suggest you call one of the ATL Capt Reps. Looking on the ALPA web board, RV seems to have a pretty good handle on section 24G.

If it's not right, you need to let them know before it becomes "law".

If you've never updated your times, that may be why. I know it says that it didn't take into account flight time or ATP status, but I see at least 5 people that were passed up. I'm assuming there was a reason, but who knows.

Read the e-mail she wrote...there were increases in DTW capts b/c of folks who can hold the permanent position but for other reasons are on leave from line duties, ALPA, MIL, NAM, etc.

By the way this was a great effort to explain what and why things happened. Also, what happened to Morris?

Thanks for the comments. My bids have been in and correct since the first day of the vacancy. Every flight time, paperwork, and ATP form is in. It looks like its not quite right. I'm talking to the people I need to so thanks, but check your awards to make sure they're right.

If you read the e-mail, the snapshot was taken at 1800 on the 22nd. The e-mail was send on the 23rd, so a lot of people have bid or changed their bid since then. Pretty worthless preliminary bid if you ask me.

I've also noticed there are 67 FOs listed for IAD, but the position notice only said 63. I think they might have confused it with the CA count?!
