You're probably not bright enough to realize the hypocrisy of your post ... Are you ?

Bring it Dicko

I dont see you defending the ALPA job killing machine or the lazy unproductive pilots out there burning their company's down then demanding a pay raise ????

Mr. Lorenzo, how much will you profit when Doug Parker makes a run for AA?

Shut it down sell it off it's the only solution, then listen to the lazy greedy pilots from APA howl. The bad news is the pilots will then flock to other airlines like locust bringing the malcontents to other airlines and starting the fight and demise of other airlines just like they have brought to AA.

Good job guys you have killed a longtime company good job APA

cheers vato's

I'm just a lurker here, but this flyvixen is a management wind-up-guy, who obviously has no clue about flying the line. His profile has 18,000 hours flown and a 73 type, doubt that, come on dude!

The union like it or not is a necessary evil in our profession. Without the union the management and share-holders would abuse the workforce for profit, it's a historical proven reality, and safety as we all know is a nice creed to live by, but not a consequence to profit.

Must have been hard getting those 18,000 737 hours without the union behind you.

Could be or he really could be clueless and is bitter because all the ALPA carriers turned him down and he had to buy a 737 type to get hired at SWA 10 or 15 years ago. He does sound like someone who sits around watching Fox news with a framed picture of Gary Kelley in his lap.

He clearly doesn't realize that SWA was smart enough to try and work with their employees to the benefit of all and ALPA, while not perfect, has had to deal with a lot of not so enlightened management teams. Also, he spent much of his career working for a lot less pay than most 737 pilots to try and build his airline (shiny jet syndrome??). Now we hear all these SWA pilots bragging about how much more than others they make and yet he is boasting that the other unions are tearing down their respective companies and how wonderful SWAPA is. He could be in for a rude awaking. The only constant is change in this industry.
Most of the SWA folks I've met seem pretty level headed, I don't think he is the norm.

Agreed Dan....Suprised too that a SW guy would be so bitter.

Back to the thread topic! The APA president is pandering to the NMB to have a chance- this decade- to be released. It's about time, pitty that the RLA gives all the leverage power to the government. You bet if APA was an AFL/CIO member the NMB might be put under a little pressure, but not the case here for the APAssociation.
