You are quite right other than to cause alarm in folks that are already spring loaded to panic. I am convinced some people feel like a handgun or any part of it is capable of self generated life and will leap from a table and harm someone. I agree it must have been a slow news day.

Well I for one am glad he didn't loose his magazine in the plane. That would have been bad and is a common mistake on this board.
