The United NC and the CAL NC have already come to an agreement on Section 3. The CAL MEC said "yes" to the JNC recommendation. The United MEC said "no".

If you guys at United want a contract, contact your MEC and ask them about their goals on section 3 (pay rates, categories, banding).

Thank you for playing right into managements' hands, United MEC.

You have it backwards.

There won't be any new 744s in the future, and we probably won't keep the ones we have. It would be totally different if we had some of these on order. There is only one reason to try and single these airplanes out and that is to try and affect SLI. I don't even like this idea if we knew 100% it wouldn't affect SLI. It's dragging down pay on the other airplanes....

Ok...maybe we should make the 737 and 757 pay rates the same?

That would be a valid argument if they were currently the same, just like the UAL 747 and 777. This all started to go downhill when the UAL MEC passed a resolution stating that the 747 WILL be the highest pay category.

Bwaaahaaahaaa. That is too funny. thanks for a good laugh. Yes I will call my LEC rep and say " please just give JB and the CAL MEC whatever they want b/c they know what is best for me. In fact, just proxy your future MEC votes to JB please."

You have it backwards.

Hvy,

Call your reps and ask them. Don't listen to the guy you're flying with. Ask a REP.

The JOINT negotiating committee came to an agreement on Section 3. There is no disputing this fact. The CAL MEC approved of the JNC's agreement. The UAL MEC did not.

Are you insinuating that your OWN negotiating committee is throwing your pilot group under the bus???

You want me to grow up? How about asking the union to grow up. Instead of working together they are working to further divide our pilot groups. Lets start a pool. How many current union "leaders" at CAL and UAL will move on to management positions in the next 5 years?
