What is the lowest salary you would except to be captain on a 50 seat jet. Now be honest... Assume you fly the 1000 hours per year.

If I am gone enough to fly 1000 hours I would like to be paid with a bullet to the head.

Seriously I'd expect about $80000 at my longevity.

Lower than 40K?

Anyone? Anyone? Someone will do it for 39K!

20k, i need a job. Just get me typed and current but don't be surprised that i leave for something better.

Ok.... we've got 20K with a type. Anyone here that would do it for 15K?

Get paid? If you are looking for the lowest you could easily find pilots willing to pay the airline big money for a type and 1000 hours of shinny time.

I agree with the guy at the top..I would take it then leave. my question is how many of u have been turned down for these 20k a year jobs after working your asses off ! preparing for interviews and in many cases paying for airfare to and from not to mention the investment in flight training just to get noticed?

$95k is the min that should be accepted for a first year PIC in any JET......stop taking less, you're only hurting yourself.
