Well

I can be the first one to bitch about something so I guess I can be the first one to say thanks to our representation for finally saying something in a 411 that is real and meaningful.

I'm glad that our leader has finally realized what is going on lately. Its good to see that he is flying the line (and getting abused during his travels). At least now he has some personal experience with this crap.

I hope last nights 411 will indicate a change in the direction this union is heading (a change in the right direction).

I think the swing of the pendulum has already started back to "normal". Just hang in there folks...I'm not one to raise false hopes, but it seems obvious we're going to have recalls soon.

I still think it's too hard to tell as far as recalls go. Yeah, the owners are flying more but are most renewing their contracts when their time is up or not? There could still be a fairly large exodus of people out of the program when their flight time is used up. It's good to see that people are flying a lot but I still think there is more to the story. Most everyone is usually left in the dark when it comes to sales numbers and data. I also feel much of NetJets current growth in the near term will depend on what happens in the November elections.

Yes if we extend the Bush tax cuts for the rich ... business will increase....

It doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy everytime I read, "Netjets continues to own more aircraft than demand requires" in every quarterly financial report. Still sounds like they are in slash and burn mode to me.

I'm still gonna stick to my prediction...Limited recalls second quarter of 2011 to have them trained by winter. ( And they have to find someone willing to tell us, "welcome to the last job you'll ever have!")

Many will bypass for obvious reasons.

Then it may be a slow and steady recall for a few years. I'm guessing maybe 50-75 a year, with many still bypassing until the last recall availible. Anyone who wants to come back to NJA will have an opportunity by 2013, and it may take until 2015 for all recalls to be finished and limited hiring to begin..

I still don't think they will ever have a huge recall/hiring rate like they did in the early 2000's. 100 a year tops...Oh, and upgrades will be atleast 12-15 years. We will all max out the FO scale easily. Awesome how it doesn't include any yearly COLA increases. Of course we never knew it would take 15 years to upgrade to an Ultra!! Awesome:puke:Then we will all max out the Captain scale at upgrade. Hello big pay increase.(about the only thing to look forward to for years to come).

I've created my 5-10 year plan, it includes Netjets, but on my own terms. And I won't try nearly as hard next time around.

Sounds like you need to go back and train the stewards then because that is where both of us got that information from. We were told by the steward that our 14 hours of rest starts when we made the phone call.

Be careful who you are calling a FOOL.

Is there any other concerns that you have, Raj, that we can bring up and discuss with our Steward council during our upcoming Steward recurrent?

??????

I'm just saying don't slam me for getting bad info when I received the info straight from the steward.

From my personal experience the 14 hours off has always been from the initial call. This was backed up by the union. So what am I to think? Do we need to fight the 14 hours starting at shutdown individually? or should my 2G a year going into the pot be used for the representation to fight it for me?
