Boy....was I right?

I'll call my buddy and get info on when hiring will start. BTW, my buddy knows some of the IT people developing the new application. He's going to ask if there's a way to get a person's app to the top of the list. In this case...my app. JK kidding guys :) .....unless he can get me to the head of the list. Then it's just another example of who you know.

We are short on pilots. Come on over, I hear the 190 is nice.

I think I'm just going to print it out and fill it in with a crayon like they do in the book Nuts. I've read that book a couple of times. After reading that, I'm pretty sure I know what they are looking for. And if that doesn't work, my buddies will help me out.

Remember Clown, one bad letter can cancel out a lot of good ones. I think I know who you are and the names of those who interview do show up in the lounge. If I see yours (if I am correct) I will be taking the time to fill out my on line recommendation (in this case non-recommendation) on you. Have a great day.

I'm not worried. Write whatever you want. I'm sure my friend's call directly to the guy in charge of flight operations will cancel out a letter that says something to the effect: "There's a guy on the internet and I don't like him. I'm not 100% sure who he is, but I'm willing to throw this guy on this list under the bus....even though it might not be the right guy. He said that Southwest won't hire in 2009 or 2010. And he's spent 20 years in the Air Force making connections with very influential people at Southwest."

I'm sure that would be devisatating.

BTW, my friend talked to Gary Kelley the other day. He said they are probably going to open up a new base for the mechanics. Any guesses where? I already know...

if you know so much just say it here.....put your $$ where your mouth is. Hell I will start....I bet Denver.

This is the first time I have visited this website in about two years. Whats funny is No Talent Ass Clown (Tanker Clown) hasn't changed one bit.

Tanker's info isn't as privy as he thinks it is. The bid for mechanics in DEN was put out close to a month ago. Thanks for putting us on the edge of our seats...

Well, it is good news isn't it? Hopefully my timing will work out and I'll have my interview about 6 months before I retire. Then go on 90 days of terminal leave right when I'm starting new hire training down in the big D.

Question: Do we get the 1-2-3 as new hires? If so, first round is on me.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch bro. even getting an interview does not guarantee an offer. good luck to you all the same
