How's that? I didn't screw anybody when there was no job for them to begin with. You should point your anger at the ALPA leadership that played chicken with the future of TSA pilots especially when they knew they had no scope.

Since you have a problem with Karma. Don't worry Karma will come for gojetters one day, that man doesn't come when we all hope he does, he comes when he finds it right

Bring it ON! Karma. Meanwhile enjoy your 6th year on the "9" making 30k.

As I understand it, Mesa pilots had no vote on starting Freedom. JO just hired street pilots for the illegal alter ego?

Correct, Mesa pilots did not have a vote on Freedom. JO solicited Mesa pilots along with a little cash and the chance to fly the 700/900.Some of the Mesa guys that went to Freedom were not senior enough to hold CA on the Mesa side so they went to Freedom to be CA thus bypassing the system because they were not ALPA.They were also allowed to keep their Mesa IDs so they could JS, that is until the "list" got out identifying those who defected. There was a instance where a Mesa guy and a Freedom guy got into a fist fight on the ramp in PHX.

The ********************bag contract that was forced on the Mesa pilots around 7 years ago.

Which battle would you fight?..Stop the alter ego carrier that was stealing your flying or stop the alter ego all together and recover the flying you were losing and settle for the same contract.Always easier to be the armchair QB when you were not faced with that situation.

Wow!

41 posts and no one thought to bring up the fact that.................................

MESA SUCKS!

That is what many conveniently forget to mention when they stand to trash Mesa. I understand why they did what they did. However, what I don't have much pity for are the guys that saw quick upgrade and on to the majors.... I know there were a great deal that went to Mesa on those premises. Now they are paying a price for going to an organization they knew to be bad. If people would quit applying to places like that, the problem would solve itself. Just like the Go Jet situation with TSA. The problem nearly was resolved when they didn't have applications coming through. There was some pressure to merge the lists to get applicants. Sadly, it didn't last long enough so now TSH has its very own whipsaw.

Arent they going to file an appeal that would take until at least December to resolve? This would at least buy some of these people some time to find another job...and I cant understand why they would furlough until they know the status of the appeal..these ERJ's are not going to go away overnight...its going to take AT LEAST two months for Delta to weed them out of the system...Mesa or not, they have mortgages and kids just like everyone else..noone deserves this crap...

The people factor sucks, but remember, the people at Mesa now ALL HAD opportunities to move on in the past 5 years and chose not to. They chose the "early upgrade" and have the "get at a regional and move on as fast as you can" and the "its not a bad place to "stick it out"" mentality. I am out of sympathy for Mesa.
