From the looks of it, you are a Midwest Furloughee. We would welcome you aboard CHQ warmly. Right now, I don't know if CHQ is what a person would be put into if they came back. The most likely candidates if hired/recalled would be Republic and Shuttle America, with a big emphasis on Republic. I personally think that on CHQ side, the most junior bases would be GRR and MKE. Contract negotiations are on hold right now while we sort out the integration. That's about all I know or can say right now. Of course I'm not an official source either so others on here might know more. Good luck with whatever you do.

They did a 12/12/12 split. I was one of the unlucky to end up not being able to get the bigger a/c. Anyway. ANY info on how reserve works with CHQ also, any rumors of hiring. This came as a shock very quickly.

You mean to tell us that the airplanes that were used to get you out of a job went senior to the very people that were taken out of a job by it? and that you're also not happy that you did not get them? Only in the piloting profession.

this is not flame but an honest question, are all you Midwest guys going right into the left seat with integrated seniority, or straight to the bottom as an FO???

arbitration not over, so new hire fo until anything is resolved, but I'm not going to hold my breath for their decision. Anyone who is will probably be sorely disappointed. I hope I am wrong and will be the first to say so if the time comes. I wish all the best of luck. I'm still hoping someone will post some intel for me....

Why do you care about the size of the plane? Lemme guess, you care what type of engine propels it too?

You should care more about work rules and pay.

I don't care about the aircraft, only the cert. Republic is the only one I'd be interested in a recall to due to DEN or MCI. I wouldn't want any of the Shuttle or CHQ's bases and since you can't cross bid as an FO, well there you go.

It does all come down to what you're looking for. If you want a particular base then I can understand how you'd want a certain certificate. Heck, I did the same thing. I do know that the company culture at CHQ is a little better between crews. We are still the red-headed stepchild of the Republic Ho. Co. and we tend to make the best of it. I honestly don't want to go to the 170/190 because I enjoy flying the smaller jet and the people I fly with. The only reason I would ever cross bid would to get into a base I could drive to from where I live, or of course enough money to entice me.

contract neg- going to take a long time
work rules- middle of the road regional-wise
jr bases- grr for sure
outlook- depends on how own-branded works and if the regional contracts don't start dropping b/c they are now paying the competition
