How are you a scab if you were furloughed and you take another job? Are the AA F/A's getting ready to strike?

I suppose if you have recall rights and a current seniority number and you cross a picket line at the company you have recall rights with that would make you a SCAB.

Quite frankly AA completely SCREWED the TWA stews.

Maybe it's their turn to even things up.

Gup

Good on em'!

The entire AA crew will suddenly realize they are not replaceable. The TWA stews were some of the best, and it will be the best day in AA history when they can once again take charge.

Pilots next!

The TWA FA's have too much integrity to scab. Once a scab, always a scab. My wife and I retired from AA after being acquired by them in 87. I was a pilot and she was an FA. Neither of us would consider scabbing no matter how badly we were treated. I think they are above that level too. A few will but it won't make a difference in a strike. We both walked our picket lines on two occasions and would have given up our jobs before scabbing. I think most crew members feel the same.

Actually, I think over 1300+ have already accepted an offer to go to training. First class of TWA furloughed F/A's started today - bet they didn't let the crew on their deadhead flights into DFW know what they were up to.

It's a tough environment....so heck yeah, cross a picket line. Then when the strike is over, they know who is on the side of the company. I'd do it. For a pilot, it would vault you to the head of the check airman/chief pilot list.
