Mesa could do both. They could fly the metal and protect the country at 1/2 the cost. What is wrong with that.

Subcontractors are less patriotic? They would be flying the same "missions" from Alaska to Norita. Polar Air Cargo flew stuff into Iraqi too maybe they should do more. They don't have the costs of a AF retirement.

Polar even flew stuff into certain countries the military could not - because of politics.

Polar understands Scope let them do more flying for the AF.

Your right - Polar pilots have more experience that AF propeller pilots. Polar should fly the Alaska/Norita "missions".

I can't help but think you're assuming all military guys are living on their retirement and are completely anti-union. That is certainly not accurate.

I recently has to explain to a Captain that, as a Reservist, I do not get any retirement until I'm 60 (59 1/2 actually). He gave me the dear in the headlights look and shut his mouth for a while. I told him that I donated several times to JBPA and asked him if he did the same. That shut him up too.
