Hard to belive a kid getting his first airline job with 500 hrs at Lynx in 2008, will be senior to former YX captains. corporate is looking real good!

you're starting to sound like the usapa pilots who were hired in '87 and still believe they should be senior to America west pilots hired in 2004.

Apples to oranges! RP and Lynx are regional’s, F9 and YX were established LCC's. Unfortunately I think this is the way of the future. Wonder what would happen if the west merged with RP? I’m sure the west would be fine with relative seniority!

F9 and YX were established LCC's.
I guess you are using the term established LCC loosely. Two summers of competition from a stronger LCC, some high fuel prices, and before you could turn your head, YX mainline was gone. Not the pilots fault, but I wouldn't call anything Tim Hoeksma had his hands in "established" and definitely not LCC (LCCs don't put 88 seats on a 117 seat airplane).

I wish they were!

Gup

I don't blame you. If Southwest ends up having to furlough, it would be unthinkable to have to furlough real SW pilots when you could have had those guys on the bottom instead.

Unfortunately, it was a double edged sword for Frontier. Too bad, they have some real good guys there.

Enough with the language and the personal attacks. Posts deleted, consider this a warning, wasn't quite bad enough to give an official "infraction", but I'm nipping it in the bud.
