I agree with everything you say--except for the part at the end about a "proud reputation."

If we had any pride, we'd have something in writing by now.

If you had any pride you wouldn't make up stuff ( like the training slots thing) just to start rumors.

I guess I was not finished on the subject.

Mr. Necro,,,you feeling "pissed" today???

My math seems to put the "uncrewed" column way over 5%, with charters going.

Just askin'.

Hung

Dude, not pissed here. I honestly do not know what the magic crewed to chartered number is. Like I said before, this has been going on here for years. So, don't act surprised around peak time, when these numbers are very lop-sided.

I wish we could crew all of our planes as well. But, I also want the company to make money. There has to be some balance out there. Charters are inevitable. But, I also don't want to go back to the 7-3's just to make it happen.

I know that this really doesn't answer your question. I hope to see these guys get hired back, but I don't see it happening any time soon. It will take more than just charter numbers to bring these folks back.

Have a good one.

And, I know you are correct. I guess I'm just blowing off some steam.

And a good holiday to you, also.

What motive would I have had to "make up stuff?" I had it on what I thought was good authority. All I can say is, I'm glad I was wrong.

Now go grab you some more of that sweet O.T., jetmistress.

I'm the last guy to take ot for your info. Nice that u resort to name calling. Next time get your facts straight before you post.

You know guys, I started this thread to get some input from the Flexjet guys/gals(furloughed or otherwise) as to what was discussed in the video. And, low and behold some of you guys hijacked it to point fingers and call each names. Really? What good is that doing? Some of us(the ones on the couch) are trying to get some kind of info as to the health of the company and the direction it's headed in, since we've received exactly zero from TC or the WV. I guess no one really knows anything pertinent. I just always thought the Flex group was better than that. Now, ya'll have a great christmas and save that fuel so that I can get a good bonus check in May for my 3 months of service from this year. Just Kidding.

[QUOTE If I was in the bottom 50 of the seniority list, I would make damn sure I didn't leave any sick time on the books. Call or email your ACP and find out how many days you have left and make sure you use them because you won't be compensated for them if your furloughed. Just my two cents.[/QUOTE]

Yeah....smart thinking Bunhead. Screw the company before and/or even if they do anything. That's the same kind of thinking that has the airline industry in the shambles it's in. The 2 most unionized industrys in the country (airlines and autos) are in the toughest shape because morons like you figure out ways to weasel out of work. The only way this country and Flexjet will move ahead is increased productivity. It happened in the 1990s (through no fault of Clinton) and it will happen again if the free market pravails. In your world, like the French, less work is the solution. What an idiot.

As a side note: Flexjet has the lowest percentage of charter in the fractional industry. Our goal shoud Not be zero charter. That would lead to inefficient staffing of aircraft and eventual lay-offs anyway.
