heard SWA just had 28 FAs fired or something for taking cash for drinks instead of c.c or coupons...and they would comp the drinks and keep the cash.

If the AAI FA's were taking alcohol, which is used to produce revenue, then how is this different than the above scenario? No one would question a convenience store clerk getting fired for taking a six pack home every night without paying for it...

Right ???

Nice job RedDog. You just screwed up the whole thread. I guess Airtran isn't the only company that tries to limit theft. Maybe the administration can step in and "save" some more US jobs.

Airlines pay about 50 cents a bottle for those minis . . . . The object of a "raid" like that is not because of cost; it's to put the employees on notice.

Yeah, it's called crime doesn't pay.

On another note...When are you guys going to start taxiing at a normal speed in MCO? It is excruciating following Citrus around the airport on the last leg of the trip.

Ty, so you're saying like 30+ years from now?

Oh wait. I forgot. We do have WiFi. On 5 planes now. Let's see 5 out of 535 = less than 1%. Apparently we're still in the "testing phase" of the new fangled on board Voodoo magic called the World Wide Web intranet internet net.com thingy.

Praise Dallas!!!!!!!!!
