Don't read into it too much... 9E has HF's on theirs... I think XJ does too.

I hope they actually teach you guys how to use them. 9E told their guys they should never be even tested in the continental US... too powerful! WTF???

you guys are barely qualified to operate the aircraft. Can't add too much more to the task....

At Mesaba only the 5 Tila Tequila (ex-Freedom) planes have HF, and they are all deactivated.

ASA has implemented a comprehensive training program.

we received a 1 page instruction guide

Comair has them but deactivated. Also, First class meals on certain long legs.

Do we have to post every company memo on here? I swear, this is like Embry Riddle Grad School or something.

Jesus, you guys at ASA think big everytime something little happens. Comair is 75% in the coffin and we have HF and first class meals. Your guys flight atts are just about as bad as ours, trust me there will be no extra meals.

With close to 1/4 of the seniority list on reserve in October, look for even more breaking ASA news starting in approximately 3 hours.

I would assume that if they are adding these in, you may be doing some flying out in the Blue routes. That would include Bermuda, and places farther south of Turks. We do not use them in the 767 over the gulf. The only time you really use them is to SA and from JFK to the Eastern Caribbean. (Trans-Oceanic too of course.)

Yep... you've got to get East of trinidad, well north of the islands, and south of Venezula/Panama to actually have to use the HF's.... the only time I've ever used them in the caribbean is coming from JFK or going to Bermuda.

Then again, half the time I'm going from JFK to the caribbean, they put a non-HF jet on there. Brilliant.

Do the ASA-900's have IRU's? Not sure, but that might be required to go out to Bermuda.

Hey is there any chance you fat bastards could stop parking in our porn star spots...? I saw one of your FO's doing a pirouette down the jetway stairs today at C57.......... It was gay.

It's been many many years since a DL jet has been at C concourse... what was it?

Nope, no IRUs and the 1st Class meals have existed for a few months already. Big whoop....

It's just Kingston mon. Hope we don't get stuck there on a round trip.

Ever here the rumor of the RJ crew that smelled "that smell" coming back from Jamaica? FA found a spliff in the foward lav.

Supposedly whole crew got a few weeks off!!
