Dan, thanks for that. I read the synopsis and I did not recognize it. I soloed in 1951 and I thought I had seen them all. I'd also guess that most of the guy's ( oh yeah, and girls) on this board don't know who Dan Roman is either. <grin>

I don't think it was even MATS, but it's a great movie, especially since all the military personnel in the film except for the two main characters were, at the time, actual active duty military folks .How about The Big Lift. All about 1940s AMC; well wasn't AMC back then

The "Great Waldo Pepper" starring Robert Redford is an awesome period movie.
Anyone heard of "Top Gun?" It's an okay '80s flick.
It's about fighter pilots, men playing volley ball, and men showering together.
