I just noticed all those ***** :0 It's not a secret code for household tasks; I just have a rowdy 8 yr old daughter who bounced into the room happy that her chore was done. I, also, hope that the pilots and their families are enjoying the summer as much as possible these days. Time for me to clean up the camping gear so its ready next time. :) NJW

How go I get you to have my wife unload the camping gear let alone clean it!!!

Rigger, tell her that it's a family affair. (We all helped unload). And then disappear on pressing business...;)

family camping trips are a ton of fun

ah, camping......why is it fun pitching a tent with the family with rain and between thunderstorms, yet doing the same in the army and it SUCKED? One I was paid for and the other I had to pay for.

The rafting trip the next day with the family was a blast.

Here's why...as they say in real estate...location, location, location. :)

Frac schedules are camping-friendly. I'm glad that other families are getting outdoors for some quality time. We've talked of going rafting. How long was your trip, QOL?

It's a three to four day camping trip and the rafting is a one day deal we do. It's down the Leigh River in Eastern PA.

I just did a full day run on the Arkansas through Royal gorge, class 3 and 4 all the way. I can highly recommend it. Better than surfing Flightinfo for sure.

Sounds fun, guys! How old are your kids? Is there a minimum age requirement and/or recommendation for such trips? What is class 3 and 4? Obviously, I have some research to do, but personal reviews are always helpful. :)

Be sure to get out of the river well upstream of the falls in Easton. If you wait to long you end up getting out in the heart of Southside Easton. If that is the case you are better off taking your chances with the falls.
Have fun

How was the water? I went down the Arkansas about 2 weeks ago and the water was running pretty high. Was told by a guild yesterday that it is down about 2/3s of what it was.
