I know they had 6 Challengers ready to be delivered. Any word on if this has happened? Thanks.

Just had a conference call and they said we are picking them up soon. Thats all I know about that. They also said 7 by the end of the year... Things are good, VERY busy right now!

Oh, and its XOJET...

If things are good and they're picking up additional aircraft - are they recalling their folks on the street?

I don't think you get recall rights when your fired. You would think however that they'll be hiring soon and thats a good thing.

This could fall under the title "of that sucks". Contentious management over at NWA. Does take two to tango though, Alpa doesn't help, perhaps they will not use the NWA play book over at XO.

Former Northwest Airlines Executive Mark S. Long Named CFO of XOJET

SAN CARLOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mark S. Long, a veteran aviation finance executive with over 20 years experience in the aviation industry including senior roles at Northwest Airlines, has been named chief financial officer of XOJET, a leading private aviation company.

Immediately prior to joining XOJET, Mr. Long was a managing director at Skyworks Capital, LLC, a global investment banking boutique focused on the airline transportation sector, specializing in asset based finance, aircraft fleet management and advisory, corporate finance, merger and acquisitions and financial restructuring.
Before joining Skyworks, he was with Northwest Airlines, serving as an officer and vice president in finance, managing investor relations and various strategic financial and corporate initiatives. Earlier in his career, he spent five years at Continental Airlines in multiple management roles.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Mark to XOJET’s management team,” said David Siegel, CEO of XOJET. “He brings deep industry financial experience, and as we continue to build on our momentum and grow market share, his background and expertise will be invaluable.”
“I am excited to join the talented leadership team at XOJET, which, in only three years, has introduced a dramatically different business model that delivers unprecedented customer value,” said Mr. Long. “The company is poised for growth with a strong balance sheet and increasing demand for the company’s more cost-effective, high quality private jet service. I look forward to helping to support XOJET as it enters its next phase and secures its future as a premier private aviation company.”
A certified flight instructor, Mr. Long earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tulsa and a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University.

XOJET Rolls out First Nationwide Network of Fixed Price on-Demand Charter Routes Starting at $12,000

Groundbreaking Expansion of “All-In” Fixed Pricing Revolutionizes the way Charter is Purchased, Offering Significant Value on Over 15,000 Dedicated Routes

SAN CARLOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Seeking to demystify historically complex pricing in the private jet charter market, XOJET announced it has launched a first-of-its-kind national network of simple, transparent rates starting at $12,000 on over 15,000 dedicated routes. Today’s launch marks the first time fixed fare on-demand charter pricing has been openly published and offered on a national scale, eliminating the need for buyers to compare complicated quotes or negotiate with multiple providers.

XOJET, the market share leader for transcontinental charter service, owns and operates the largest and newest private fleet of Cessna Citation X aircraft. Earlier this year, the company launched select fixed-price coast-to-coast Citation X packages starting at $19,000, a savings of approximately 20 to 30 percent over typical charter rates.
The company’s new network of routes delivers significant value pricing for business travelers flying to or from 13 major metro areas in the U.S. who need a safe, convenient and cost effective way to manage business travel. With a speed of Mach .92, the Citation X is the fastest way to travel cross country; a trip from Los Angeles to New York can take just four and a half hours. XOJET’s fixed-price routes include service between major U.S. cities including: New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
Fixed-price routes also benefit leisure travelers flying to popular vacation destinations across the country. Fliers can travel with XOJET’s award winning service to locations including: Key West, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Napa, Palm Springs and more.
The “all-in” package includes travel on an XOJET Citation X, which seats up to eight passengers, ground transportation in both the departure and arrival cities, standard catering and unlimited in-flight worldwide calls. Clients do not pay any additional fees, repositioning costs, or face fuel surcharges, as is common in the industry.
“Now more than ever, corporate and individual fliers are seeking more cost-efficient options, without sacrificing quality and service,” said David Siegel, CEO of XOJET. “The efficiencies we have achieved with our scale and business model allow XOJET to deliver a whole new level of value to our clients. The launch of this national network of all-in prices completely changes the way charter is purchased, and eliminates the complexity customers faced buying charter service in the past.”
The entire XOJET fleet consists of new aircraft with an average age of a year and a half, in stark contrast to the charter industry’s average of greater than fourteen years.
XOJET has earned the distinguished Platinum rating from Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/US) for the company’s rigorous operational standards. The rating is widely recognized as the ultimate acknowledgement of excellence in operational practices and flight safety standards, and is the highest-level safety audit rating in private aviation.
Check rates anytime at www.xojet.com. Rates are subject to availability, determined based on the applicable routing and may be subject to other conditions. Federal excise taxes are not included.

Funny thing is Hyflyin, we're not the cheapest either. Had a customer tell me a few weeks ago that he priced out the 5 biggest players and we weren't the cheapest by thousands of dollars... He went with us for the customer service and new airplanes. Said Netjets quote was actually cheaper?

That is amazing. Two words I never thought would be in the same sentence were "cheaper" and "Netjets". Can't blame him on the 300, thats a nice bird.
