It appears that USAPA's recent actions show the level of their despiration.
From a recent update:
As you might imagine, some of USAPA's volunteers are fairly eager to be spending their time (and lots of flight pay loss) over the coming weeks threatening the careers of the West pilots, particularly now that their plan to staple you to the bottom of their seniority list has failed. Some of these volunteers have already been a bit too enthusiastic with their efforts, and have used some tactics that are normally only employed by bottom-feeding collecting agencies. In one recent case, a USAPA dues collection volunteer told an America West pilot that if he did not acquiesce immediately to USAPA's payment demands, that the volunteer would hang up the phone, call the PHX Chief Pilots office, and have that pilot instantly terminated. Not only is this childish remark is a clear violation of company policy, it is also a completely baseless threat.
