CEO agreed with too little pay, too little experience, and changing flight logs from previous flights. But he masterfully spun all these to sounds like they were positives.

Too bad the reporter didn't come back with "pilots are only allowed to work 80 or so hours per month while a min wage worker getting 120 hours per month, so your pilots are actually getting less than minimum wage, something like $5+/hour. Do you think that is enough?"

Unfortunately, that mentality is widespread at different levels in this industry. None of us with few exceptions, are getting the compensation we deserve. Most companies stretch the rules to the limit at one time or another. All in the name of the bottom dollar. Safety is always a dinstant second I'm afraid.

The Lorenzo mentality is well and alive. The Walmartization of this industry continues full force. I hope those uninformed souls at GA find a better place to spend their 30 grand. Places as such, and the people that attend them have become enablers of this corrupt system.

You think thats bad...how bout the fact that these first officers are not employees of the airline, therefore they are not covered under the contract. Meaning there is no guarentee. They fly five trips a month worth four hours each, they only get paid for those 20 hours that month!!!!! And I dont think there is a lot flying to go around down there right now. The two guys interviewed in this piece are both ******************************bags. I cant believe they are the face of the company.

How do you figure? I went to college got a degree and a minor, flight instructed there and got a job at a horrible FBO/flight school in PWK. How is that different than working at any other flight school. Now go get Jims Dick out of your mouth and sit on it. Also, did I pay to instruct in a sundowner, No. Did I get paid to instruct, Yes. Did I leave with the benefit of knowing that every day I showed up Jim would cry cause his wussy ass was too afraid to even see half of us there.
