Republic/Mesa guys, I need your help.

I am a Pinnacle pilot, and our management just announced our new travel benefits under Delta. The new "Benefits" are horrible compared to the ones we've had for years under NWA. Our management is telling us they had no choice, and Delta forced them on Pinnacle.

My question to all of you, is what are your Benefits under Delta? How did your management tell you that they were negotiated? And what benefits do you get through your other ASA's, and do they overlap?

Changes to are current travel benefits include:

-No more epass parent travel benefits though the company travel network. Only an expensive and inconvenient ZED High, paper ticket sytem that requires 3-5 business days to process.

-No more buddy passes.

-No more Registered Travel Companions.

-No more free travel for Domestic Partners.

-No more travel benefits for part time employees.

-No more than 3 international travel days per year.

Pinnacle employees have launched a massive communication campaign to let management know that these new benefits are unnacceptable. Pinnacle management has responded that they will be going back to Delta to try and appeal for better benefits, however the Pinnacle Employees are less than trusting of this.

Please give me anything you have on your benefits under Delta.

You guys are getting hosed. I hope this is not what's to come for the rest of us DAL Connection carriers.

Welcome to Regional Hell, but apparently you are already aware of it.

Welcome to the way Delta (formerly known as NWA) plays ball.. We are simply the first to see what a bunch of turds now run this company. DAL's employees will be getting screwed as well-many just have not figured it out yet....

-Welcome to Steenland's little corner of hell!

Trenary's/Seal's #1 guiding principle: Never Compromise Savings.

It's time to form a DCI group that keeps ALPA, mainline pilots, and DAL managment in check....A unified DCI group with all the DCI carriers could make some changes....Mainline shouldn't get a better deal on us than we get on them...

Agreed 100%.

You and the girls already tried that. It failed miserably, much like your career aspirations!

That will be you weeping when your flight home gets canceled because one of the DCI crew had to call in commuter clause because they couldn't make it in for their trip.

This is going to effect everyone, mainline as well as DCI ~ Butt Nut.

He can't help it....Gen. Lee hasn't been putting out lately and scope is getting frustrated...

I haven't been "putting out?" Oh please Joe, you know I only have eyes for you and your RJ.....? As far as the travel beenies go, you only get what you negotiate. Delta owns the seats. Just remember though, you always have a seat up front if you need it (as long as a DL mainliner isn't on it....).

Bye Bye---General Lee

Are you saying the DCI pilots should NOT have the same non-rev bennies as DAL pilots? I request you make your views clear... I am hoping that this is not what it appears.

Sure I do (you should have the same), but you need to negotiate that with Delta. I don't make up the rules. To them you are contract feed, and you need to negotiate it. All we can offer as pilots is the jumpseat. And, as you saw, I did say "come aboard!!" Don't get your panties up in a wad at us. NEGOTIATE.

Wasn't that called the RJDC?

Your mom has been doing just fine for me and the rest of the DL MEC!

Hey D-Bag....Get off this thread. The only thing you're proving is the fact that you have no life what-so-ever. Some of us are actually trying to conduct something productive on behalf of our fellow employees here.

How is that nobody has an answer to the original question? What are the DAL pass benefits at Republic and Mesa?

DCI guys just need to make sure the numbers won't work when a mainline guy is looking for a ride.

Hey Joe,

I know he can't help it. He works for Delta and he's screwed.

I looked at the Delta flight numbers today. DCI flew 3218 flights and Delta flew 1435.

OUCH!

SCOPE works good at Delta

So much for Key West.

True... . So who cares about Delta pass benefits? Apparently they don't go anywhere anyway. ;)

The problem Fins is that Delta is pushing for getting DOH priority on the DCI flights....ASA and SKYW are the only two who have fought this off....I don't mind you getting priority on your aircraft, as long as I get priority on my aircraft...

The problem is DAL employees using their DOH on DCI aircraft and no quid pro quo....

I just went to Alaska, and never touched a Delta aircraft....couldn't get on...I used UPS to get there, and flew Skywest back from Vancouver to Atlanta.....

Joe - Delta, who? I've not read, or heard, a syllable from the pilots about it, either way. I understand your frustration, but if anyone we knew had any power over the situation you would not have seen our date of hire for pass benefits get wiped out while rampers and gate agents get to keep theirs when coming on board.

As for ANC, you must have flown on some odd days. We just (as of day before yesterday) flew a friend's grand daughter back and forth on a S4.

The scary part for you and me, is that the best connections for Vancouver are now on Alaska Airlines 737's. What priority are they?

Hey numbnuts! Sure I do, just ask your mom!

Let me offer you some tissues on behalf of mainline employees for your plea for better pass privileges..
