...if that ever happens.

Seriously though, what's the common practice when you get called back? Do you have to sit through a month of ground school again (assuming you've been gone around a year or so) or is it just a week of ground and a sim/line check?

Another random thought... When you get called back do you have to drop everything and go back or can you say "I'll be there in 6 weeks!"

Sorry for the rambling...I'm worn out from screaming "Right Rudder!!!" all day.

I probably wouldn't worry about a TSA recall anytime soon. Maybe as a Christmas present who knows. I would be curious at the attrition levels though right now.

A 172 pilot is getting all worked up about what he has no clue about. Hey mr fighter pilot!!! Did you finally pass your asvab? Do you at least qualify as a cook in the Marine CROPS? Or is it the CORE? Or the CORPS? I'm confused. Was that in the asvab? How's the FA18 slot coming along? How about that Gojet interview??

It's going good CX I actually get to leave in Jan. 2010 now much better than your future at GJ actually. How's your knees? ******************** will scab over eventually I know its not easy sucking management's dick, but with time you'll be a pro and then you can add that to your pro pilot list too.

I know how hard these things can be, but please watch the language in the forums, stick to debate over substance and not hurling insults.

Some of it depends on your contract, although the TSA contract has no language in it(that I can remember) regarding return from furlough/leave. It is basically what the company wants to do with you, I would expect though probably full up training if gone for over a year.
