Paul is still here and is in the CRJ50. Mark is in the 70/90. If you had stayed, you would have been between 30 and 40 on the seniority list.

Yah, when I was there we all were part of the constant party bunch. A lot of us lived in the Cliffside Apts in Erlanger. The name has changed now but it's a short walk (very important) up the hill to Barleycorns bar on Dixie Hwy. Is that place still there?

Sorry to hear about Tom Pomeroy's gun accident. That sucks.

Actually, the hose job on the seniority aside, I don't have much to complain about.

First, I was lucky when I was hired at TWA. I was in the first class of a 2+ year hiring wave. Because of that I was an engineer for only 11 months. Then 4 years F/O in the 727. Then 5 years international 767 F/O. Capt on the 727 in just 10 years. Capt 767 for 6 months at which point AA bought us. That's when I went kicking and screaming to MD-80 school!

In May 2007 I turned 50 and took early retirement. So when you say it didn't work out to well I have to disagree.
My wording wasn't the best. I was trying to say even though TWA Closed, it still would be better than being number 30 on OH's list

Barelycorns is still around. I have never been there, but when I drove by last summer the place was packed.

Too bad you left. You could be JFK based right now and holding a sweet line. Party bunch back then? You've never seen a party bunch, like the JFK guys. We pack the crew room at night. 1-2 people per couch, sleeping. People sleeping on the tables, under the tables, in their tents.
Crews getting ready in the public bathroom. Brushing your teeth, putting on the uniform as the passengers walk in and out. Little do they know, it's the Comair Locker room. We just let them use it, since we're all about passenger satisifaction.

"Ain't no party like a Kennedy party, 'cause a Kennedy party don't stop!"

Living the dream of being a commercial pilot for a major airline!

It was always busy when I was there too; 20+ years ago!

And by the way, I went to WMU also! 1978 to 1980. (I went to a 2 year school prior to that.)

ahaaa.....those were the days....living in a 2 bedroom apt with a gun nut, guy that wore bikini panties and let you know it, a woman ramper, and woman who's only reason to being at CMR was to go back home and fly for TAM.

5-1988 to 9-2004......what a run
