Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome the newest member of the unemployment club… ME! I understand the list is big and the line is long for people looking for work but, If any of you guys have info on jobs it would be much appreciated.
Falcon 10 & 20, Hawker 400 & 700, Sabre 60 & 65.
Thanks!!

Sorry to hear this, feel horrible for you. What part of the country do you live in?

Jan 2008 and June 2008....2008 was a horrible year. They say that every pilot gets 2 furloughs in his career and I did it in a year.

Im on 4 so far! Lets see....Sept 2001, January 2003, July 2008, January 2008.

Ive lived 2 careers already!

Hi!

If U really want a job, and can't find one, look OVERSEAS!

I have looked overseas. You need a heavy type for China. I had 4 leads to India dry up, literally one after another.

So overseas can be hit or miss.

Been there too...Jan 01, Oct 01, Dec 02, Jan 06...each time I ended up with a better job than before.

Best tip I can give: You don't have to be the best candidate, just the easiest candidate to hire.

I concur.... been laid off from three flying jobs so far and always got a better job. Keep humping along and something will turn up. You MUST treat the job search process like a job itself and work on it almost every day. Keep a Journal and write down all contacts and pertinent info. My .02 :)
