Dozing for dollars. We also have a crew rest facility on some of our 767-300ERs that fly over 12 hours nonstop with bunks. It is so much nicer to sleep on a flat surface with quiet instead of at a seat with a curtain around it.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Notice the pic. Wearing your hat to bed: The essence of professionalism. :pimp:

Well a couple of comments...

He is a DAL guy... on a side note.. all the NWA guys are going to have to 'cowboy up' to the Deltoid image. No? Which is a far cry from the DTW and MEM based NWA crews trying to go incognito with no hat, no blazer, no wings... That image was "I am not a pilot... you didn't just see me...!! sshhhhh, I am just going to slip into Coney Island (or Sun Studios) here and get a grilled cheese...

Let's wait and see what Sully says about crew rest and the hat.... this pic might be spot on! He is after all the professional pontif de jour....

Keep in mind, the average NYT reader sees the hat and says.. "yup, that is definitely not a stewardess"

I think I know why the General's seat needs a curtain......

(Pay no attention to the gimp behind the curtain.)

Well, that is a 777 rest facility, and our 767-300ER facility has bunk beds. But, you didn't know that obviously. Speaking of rest, you need to update the McDondald's resume, since most of your 50 seat RJs will be "resting" soon in Marana.

Better than "resting" in the arms of your gimp, zipperhead.....

-BTW- How is that two-cycle adult toy we sent you and your gimp for the holidays working out? Tried that sucker yet, or holding out for your next layover in LBB?

Right, but in some instances, at DL, due to our schedules, a 24 hour layover isnt possible.

For example, for our PVG flights, those arent daily, so a constant 24 hour overnight isnt possible.

What I think they are really discussing is the OpSpec (A332 I think) for ultra-long haul operations. I dont think youd see the 24 off prior, 48 off in country rule on a short hop to Europe from the East Coast, just those specific flight operations which are listed in the OpSpec.
