Has anyone been through the '09 version of CQ? I have it coming up and would like to know what they are doing.

Fresh for the 2009 MV. Duel Bird strikes into both props! Followed by your Captain yelling, "I got it young man!" and followed by a deadstick water landing in the Hudson.

Good Luck.

wink wink

I heard this year it is some ground school, an MV, and an LOE.

Expect a written test.

Know the emergency procedures.

Don't f**k up.

Did I miss anything, W?

Nahh, got the early on call.

But hey! What can't they throw at you? We know the city pairs. We know the disgusting non-precision profiles and specials. The limitations haven't changed a whole lot.

What's left? A pi$$ed off instructor.

I just manage the parts that I can. There's not much left.

* the "don't f*** up" part still stands.

Some tips: If ITT is above 785, don't say "Everything is normal."

Don't retract the flaps on a pitch jam.

Don't crash.

Don't enter a hold incorrectly.

Not too hard, but not easy. Jesus, imagine how hard it would be if we had an FMS to program.

I'll put my skillz up against any 121 operator out there. The problem is that I'd probably take a pay cut for doing it. Discuss---

It won't be JetBlue. They told me "no thanks, you fly turboprops."

Morons. Like damn RJ puppies are any better.

What's this crap I hear about the CQ hotel? Rooms that open to the outside are contractually illegal.

Jesus.

And I'm about .0001% the pilot you are. I'll maintain that ANYONE can get whacked in CQ- if you make it here, you can make it at any carrier.
