damm what a way to try and raise revenue 100 bucks a year with a max of 200 for the family? why not pay as you go like everyone else ohhhh forgot they do that too. What a way to suck up what little bennies the airlines have to offer anymore.

First class is still free. You can wear flip flops when you non rev.

CAL and UAL make you pay extra for first...to the tune of twice what coach is. AA will not let you sit in first ever, even if that is the last seat on the plane. Sucks it costs more, but not bad in the grand scheme of things.

Wrong. I think you mean to say it sucks less than CAL, UAL and AA. Used to be free, then $50 last year, now they want $200. I wonder how much it will cost next year? When does it stop? Will it ever?

Renew your privileges on travelnet before the fees go up. My anniversary date was in October, I was previously paid up until 10/2009. I just renewed for $50 and now I'm paid up until 10/2010. Still sucks, but it buys you an extra year.

Where do you get your information? ..twice what coach is? Coach is free at UAL....everywhere. Most of us have performance incentive coupons and other coupons that allow us to travel for free in first or business class....everywhere. I guess you are on the outside looking in making up b/s.

This is the regional forum, he's not talking about mainline. All UAX carriers that I know of pay a mileage fee for mainline coach, and a large mileage fee for 1C...you could probably buy a ticket on SWA for the 1C fee.

You said Delta, right? Welcome the Northwest way of doing things. If your anyone but upper management get prepared to get reamed every time you breath.

I work for a large UAX carrier. UAL coach anywhere in the world is free. No yearly fee whatsoever. That's one thing UAL does do right.
