What are the feelings about changing the leadership at USAPA?
East pilots do not visit pilot forums were most pilots are in there 20's and 30's. Easties are in their late 50's and you will have a hard time finding any real USAIR pilots visting this site. Maybe some 190 pilots in their 30's. Good luck finding a mouthpiece for the East Pilots on this forum.

By the way, you flew a An-2, now that's really cool. Any pics?
Thanks Rez! There's a An-2 over at Chino, don't know if it is flying anymore. What was the purpose of the air brake on the yoke?
The much more relevant question is what are the feelings about changing USAPA and joining a real union
Good luck finding a mouthpiece for the East Pilots on this forum.

Flew the AN2 in Budapest... paid a burned out "soviet bloc" pilot a handful on Forint and D-Marks. Pretty cool airplane. The air brake on the yoke was interesting... great perfomance.
I understand the same motor on the An2 was also on the Russian version of the DC3.
PM an email and I'll send pics....
"Real" union or not....USAPA has been accepted into CAPA and had representatives present at the recent CAPA conference.
Correction: uSAPa was accepted on an associate status only. They didn't get full membership.
C'mon Mcdoodle, don't sell yourself short! You're not a very good East "mouthpiece" but you're doing a heck of a job acting as another east orrafice.
