There's that old expression, "The more things change the more they stay the same." The Easties have proven it doesn't matter which union or which leadership they have.
What is needed with the East Pilots is to have real Leadership that provides their fellow pilots the truth and do what is "fair & right" for all pilots of the New USAirways.
This is what the USAPA needs to understand about being "fair & right"... support a seniority integration that will:
a. Preserve jobs.
b. Avoid windfalls to either group at the expense of the other.
c. Maintain or improve pre-merger pay and standard of living.
d. Maintain or improve pre-merger pilot status.
e. Minimize detrimental changes to career expectations.
The Nicolau Award as in the DAL/NWA Award does what is fair and right for all pilots.
East pilots do not visit pilot forums were most pilots are in there 20's and 30's. Easties are in their late 50's and you will have a hard time finding any real USAIR pilots visting this site. Maybe some 190 pilots in their 30's. Good luck finding a mouthpiece for the East Pilots on this forum.
