Fool, you're upset that you didn't get a day off that you requested? You poor thing you.
Xjet, Comair and PSA have furloughed almost 1,000 pilots in the last 3 months....with more to come in January.
And you're bitching because you couldn't get some day off?
Whiny bitch.

So file a grievance with union.........oh wait.....never mind.
File a grievance over a staffing issue? Give me a break. Every regional has staffing issues, and no matter how many "Fix Staffing" stickers ALPA hands out, they're still short staffed.
But hey, that "Fix Staffing" along with all the other ALPA stickers on your bag, gives you that warm fuzzy feeling. Does it gives you the idea that ALPA is actually doing something?
Staffing and Fatigue has been an issue since the 70's.

* Unless you are based in MKE then F@#$ it because we are mad at Midwest and going to take it out on you.

They paid too many people to transfer out and don't want to let anyone back in, because of the possibility of paying people twice. We are the only base so under staffed that as soon as bids come out we are below min reserve staffing EVERYDAY. We are so short on people that we are getting company need flying over the holidays. For the last few months it was hard to get lines over 75 hours. This month people have 90 to over 100 hours with CN flying. It's nice to see that Skywest can and will s!@# on employees just because of the base they are in. They are pissed at Midwest because they are not paying us and they believe Midwest gets what they pay for. I hope they understand how a lot of people in the base are feeling right now and how they will preform because of it. These unhappy employees will move throughout the company and start spreading negative attitudes. I now have a totally different view.

Anyone know what happened with the letter that the FA’s all signed and sent in?

I’m happy everyone in base is good about writing up each and every maintenance issue.
Also with the cold and flu season already here please make smart decisions when determining your fitness for flight. You’re not doing anyone a favor by coming in sick. I’m tired of flying with people coughing and blowing their nose in the cockpit. Do your fellow employees a favor and stay home when sick. I don’t want your sickness.

Someone has a job right? I'll trade ya!

flyingfool...you need to get over yourself.

Why don't you make a phone call rather than whining on a public forum.

Who should I call and do you really think think they will just change anything because I called... Whatever... and all you guys that have comments like at least you have a job.. and stuff like it could be worst should shut up.... those arguments don't make any sense... There will always be airlines doing good and other not... Should I stop eating food because somewhere in the world someone is starving... Shut up.. of course it could be worse but that shouldn't stop me from trying to make things better... Never mind you're all idiots....

I bet FlyingFool was the happy go lucky guy who said
"If you're so miserable, just quit! I'd be privileged to have that job!!!!"

SkyWest'ers should get together and give this whiney child a Code Red.

Shut up and do your job child.

There is nothing to contribute to were talking on the regional forum. This is basically a place to screw around on your free time.

Thanks again for your heady contributions Skippy.

All of you throwing rocks at flyingfool should take a deep breath. Most of you would also be chucking rocks at him if his mesage was a complete 180. If he was talking up how good it was that he was close to upgrade, you would be calling him out for drinking the koolaid. Give me a break. To those of you that are pissed that he is exposing the dark side of SkyWest, why should he hide it? Hopefully others that come knocking on SGU's door will have a better idea of what is in store for them. I am sorry for those that are on the stret, or will be soon. That said, flyingfool is not why you are out of a job.

Uh, the "dark" side of SkyWest? How about the "side" of SkyWest. Last time I checked, SKW isn't the only airline that suffers from staffing and employee distribution problems. Those who come a' knockin' at SGU's door should be aware that it is, in fact, a regional airline and therefore would be well advised not to expect a major airline-esque quality of life.

But even while typing this, I know it will never happen. There will always be whiners, which is really the only thing that makes this job hard for me.

Oh well. If flyingfool wants to keep getting pwnd on flightinfo, I'm not going to stop him.
