At least the people I know at Mesaba would never make a remark like that. I would tend to think some of the bad apples we let slip through the interview process when we were taking almost anyone made that statement. I hope that person does not last long. Back on topic, the one thing that doesn't change with the regionals is that the legacies build them up and then tear them down.

Since Comair has a good contract, I'd think it would be difficult to merge them with another regional, but we'll see.

Probably because we're not worth all that much in pieces either. I mean, pieces like what? A bunch of 50-seat airplanes, including the first four CRJ1s in operation? I imagine the only way we're worth anything is if we actually fly airplanes, but....
