Thanks NJOwner, but I said equity financing. 900M from the Canadian govt and 1.5 Billian with a "B" from Tasameem U.A.E., and 700 million from various other sources. I'm sure there are conditions, but what makes you think we are not meeting those conditions? Like I said, 3.1 Billion dollars available for equity financing plus hundreds of millions of cash in the bank! I'm not sure I understand the point of your post?

Step back Francis... It's great to have confidence in yourself or your organization but take a look around you and realize that there is a very very fine line that seperates " billions of credit " and " Liquidation "

If your thinking about putting a substantial amount of $$$ for transportation, the company had better be finacially secure. What happens when you want to sell? I think as the economy struggles Netjets will appeal to more people thinking about finacial security.

XO Jet has the best engine covers I've seen!

AS I POSTED MONTHS EARLIER:

When they ran thier "special" on prices for flights. They are struggling for Revenue. Flying is down for everyone from major airlines to major fractionals, this is not the environment for startups.

As credit continues to tighten, hedge funds and private investment will put thier money LAST in aviation, certainly NOT an unproven business model such as XO.

I said it once, will say it again, "its only a matter of time, but XO's time is sooner rather than later."

A quick thought if you used all $3.1 billion dollars in funding/credit/equity financing... whatever it is, just on a 5% per year return thats a payment of $155,000,000 per year!!! or $424 625 per day!!! just on the interest ALONE! (if its european billion then its a lot more $$)

Imagine trying to pay that out of a corporate aviation business... I dont even think they likes of old Warren Buffet would take on that one!

Wow, this guy knows everything! Our "special" was aimed at pulling customers from other places, no not Netjets (we know they love their service!). It was a special to get people on our planes to see the difference for themselves. You can keep thinking what ever you want though buddy...

I know your going to come back with something when I say this...

I'm at the very bottom of the seniority list, number 122 of 122, and I am not worried about my job or any other pilots job here at XOJet. We are interviewing and hiring currently. Have one class scheduled and one in the works.

Just sit back and watch, its gonna get good!

Oh yeah, and since our engine covers are nicer than everyone else's, that must mean we are the best, right?

Why is everyone seem to be rooting against XOJET? Its almost on the level of Mesa bashing, but XOJET sounds like a stand up company that treats its people well.

I often wonder that myself, SWA's model was hassaled, threatend, etc... and yet??

"Life is lived forward and understood backwards". Lets see where XO goes with this, maybe there is a better way, lets watch and learn.

As an NJAer I would like to wish everyone in the aviation industry luck, because we ALL need it!

Hey x-rated, how many challenger 300 orders did XO recently drop? With all that cash to go around that you claim, why are they reducing the order? Or are you going to call it "streamlining"?

I can't answer for everyone, but I think some of it started when AIN interviewed at the time CEO of XOJET Paul Touw. Mr. Touw being the new kid on the block came across like a know-it-all punk kid. He was almost insulting to Richard Santulli, CEO of Netjets and all of Mr. Santulli's experience in the market. In my opinion this is where it all started.

We briefly considered accelerating our delivery schedule because others had dropped out and planes became available. Management have since decided there may be better opportunities in the market, and have just decided to take the planes we originally ordered. So, the answer to your question is NONE of the original firm orders have been dropped. Nice try though.

I have run into several Comair refugees over there. I'm glad you have cash on hand. Best wishes to XO!

I felt the same why at my previous employer, just to get furloughed 2 weeks off IOE!!!!!

What would you say to the guys at ASTAR? Everyone thinks flying boxes is untouchable. Think again.

Im less than 200 from the bottom of the NJA list and am cautiously optimistic of what the future holds for me. I will never say never again!

Orders on 300s and also how many pilots??

Just wanted to know is XOJet taking delivery of all 80 planes . 20 firm 60 options I heard or do they plan on cutting down on the options for the time being. Also does anyone know how many people have been hired off the street for the 300s so far?

I don't think we can do anything but wish the best for the XO guys and gals.

Competition is health for the market. It keeps all of us striving for the next level in order to remain competitive.

I don't wish furlough or unemployment for any of us. Anyone who is secretly hoping for XO to fail probably needs to rethink their position in this fragile industry.

how many pilots does the company plan on hiring to satisfy the increase in aircraft. and how many per a class and how often. i really hope xo does well and that i am with them in not to long.

No plans on reducing our options... Were going to get all of them. 3 by the end of this year and 17 more next year, then 20 a year after that. I think they have hired around 8-12 guys/gals for the next class and its going to be a 300 class.

We are going to quadruple in size in the next 4 years. We have 122 pilots right now so I'm guessing around 100 a year were going to hire. There was 8 in my class but I don't know what future classes will have in them?

You might want to do some more research and you'll see that I'm right. The order was reduced. Not starting a fight, just telling you what I know.

And your credible source is who? Let me guess Paul Touw...

We just had a pilot conference call about a week ago and they said nothing has changed. How do you know this info if you don't even work at XO? You heard from your friends brothers girlfriends Dad who delivers mail to our headquarters...

Give us all a break! Unless you have a credible source, and POST WHO IT IS, we aren't going to believe you. I hope all the other people who don't work here at XOJET don't believe this BS.:puke:

Do you know how to tell that management is lying to you? Their lips are moving. Oh, but they're different......

Well, then you do not know the true definition of competition. Yes, it helps the consumor by driving prices down and increases service..to a point. The truth is every business, no matter what industry, wants to drive the other out of business. It is that simple. What business does not enjoy being a monopoly? Look at the phone, cable, gas, and electric companies...are any of these hurting in the economic downturn? As a fellow pilot, I hate to see my other fellow pilots out of a job but, as part of a business that is striving to gain and keep their market share....I say go get them and drive them out by providing the ultimate in service and benefits for the cost the customer pays. Now that is competition. If XO Jet fails, or even NetJets, then they were not aggressive enough. This is survival of the fittest.

I can only type so fast with one hand. The only time I get on here when I am at home is when I'm feeding my 4 month old son. I'll write you back when I get more free time, like on overnights. Bare with me buddy
