I'll give you credit...you accept being part of an entitled group

We all think we're entitled to something. The old guys think they're entitled to another 5 years at the top of the game. The young guys think they're entitled to the old guys seat. Give it a rest with the cane shaking gramps.

Everyone in this so called union believe they are entitled to something regardless of how it affects the others.....Can we move past this silly notion of a "brotherhood"?

It looks like the age-65 rule is working very well doesn't it.

Just to verbalize a concern:

Age 65 is failed no less than 60 was. You won't hear the complaining right now because fools soaking up the immediate windfall are happy for the moment. We don't retire at 65 folks. You don't make your plan based on 65. You fix your plan on age 63.5 or so. You have to figure out what you're going to bid equipment wise so you know your pay or pay protection. If you don't have it figured in your last 12 months you've screwed yourself. With all the recent retirement account losses I'm too sure there are guys/gals flying past 60 who aren't going to be ready. I'm seeing a lot old pilots strut around like everything is OK not talking about other retirement issues. I don't think they've got a plan; I hope they don't think they'll get another age increase.

Don't burden us any more people! Get yourselves ready to retire.

National strike of the pilots in France from November 14th to 17th
French airline pilots´ unions have unanimously called a four-day strike from Friday 14 November at one minute past midnight to Monday 17 November at midnight, to protest against changes to the retirement age currently under discussion in the French Parliament (changing from 60 to 65)
Air France is expecting very severe disruptions to its operations and apologizes to passengers in advance for this highly regrettable situation.

What a bunch of lazy-a$$ Frogs. What's wrong with working like the rest of the world. This figures though, remember the Frogs take 2-3 hour lunch breaks and nothing gets done all day. They are all part of the “Wine Tasting” crowd.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. The French pilots are doing what we should have done.

The Europeans can't afford the retirement benefits they have....We would be smart to learn from their mistakes.....

Retirement at 60 works fine if you only live to 65.....Financially it doesn't work if you live to 85+.....The math doesn't add up.....
