 Just a suggestion. If they mention during the sales pitch that all you need is to get a ticket, the airlines will teach you how to dispatch..........Look for another school.

NO WAY!!! Sheffield is the "premier" dispatch school in the United States!!!

Lemme guess... you went to Sheffield?

Just seen alot of people with tickets come into the office right out of school not knowing the difference between a TAF and a METAR. No kidding.

YepI worked at a place that would give pre-interviewees a quickie quiz, about 25 ?? long, all from the ADX Written.60-70% of people couldnt pass it - and these people all had their ADX tickets.I remember one person, in response to the question name the 3 stages of a thunderstorm, answered beginning, middle, and end.She wasnt invited back...; she had a ticket...

I don't understand how they got past a FAA Oral for the ticket.. scary...

When the owners of the schools are the D.E.'s passing out the tickets I think it is obvious.....(conflict of interest IMO)

They are the premier school for mass breeding suckers as dispatchers like you and props.

Good point.. hey finally we agree on something, OMG!

Hey I visited your fine city last month.. St George is truly beautiful.. we went up to Zion..

It is a great place to visit.... Should have sent me a PM. I would have brought you up to dispatch and shown you around....

Wow Homer.. surprised.. Yea I wish I had taken the time to get your address before we left LAS for Zion.. it was a last min trip choice..so on the way I was hoping to see the G.O. not knowing where it was exactly located..I would have done an impromtu visit which may not have been welcomed, of course the family would have hated that barely caring about stopping at the airport, but humored me so I could get the pictures..

Thanks for the offer, If you mean it, I'll plan on that the next time i'm out there visting my money..:)
I second the offer, come on down. We aren't really abrasive a-holes...we just play abrasive a-holes on the internet. :)

That means I'm happier and you hit on your trainees.
I think he wins. (remember, nothing you can say about me in retaliation hasn't been said before)
