Thinking about maybe going to NJI, what is a typical tour like? (If such a thing exists) How does it compare/differ from NJA? Is most flying international, or is a good bit domestic? Thanks for any input.

I work the NJA side, I can't comment on that stuff, but you should be aware that all NJI FO's will come from the NJA seniority list after Nov 21st, 2008. (Assuming that the integration has not taken place by then.)

Nji

Word on the board is NJI will be assimilated in OCT... this is coming from the NJI pilots which were told to them by their leaders. No offical word from our (NJA) leaders ..yet.

So... it wont make any diff to which you apply to since its taking months and months to get any action.

Up until Nov 21st are the NJI FOs will being hired off the street? I thought that was over ....

So that's 50% domestic and 70% international.....which is 120%.....public school math.

Just bustin' your chops Dinger. I know what you meant.

:laugh:Hey Gut, You sooo funny!!! I hear you. You must have gone to that special school down the street from where I went. Hell I thought it was a gooder school. Heeeee hheeeeeee

Depends where you are based and seat. I'm based in new england and morally flexible.

I've done about 4 tours this year domestic.

Of course i get to be the crossing queen instead of just sitting. :)

I came from the A to the I side so I've seen both sides.
