Wondering if anyone has any info on what kind of corporate department they have. How many planes, schedules, etc.

Based out of SUS, a couple of Falcons (possibly more types), all the Bud you want, pretty exclusive, not a lot of turnover....

That's about all I know...I'm sure someone else can chime in.

If you have to ask... TC

Would be a great job if you were a single. You are expected to purchase the entire bar a round of drinks when you go out ... hmmm I think that I would spend a lot of time in Manhatten!

Sold their 7X right after delivery. Made a nice profit on it, can't really blame them.

Just saw on the local Orlando news that the company is relocating there corporate headquarters to central Florida next year. I would imagine the flight department would be moving as well.

Getch yer fax st8!

Yeah...they're moving....though it's the THEME PARK division of AB and all of it's 58 employees!

I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that the flight dept is staying put in St. Louis, but that's just me.

Just when I open my big mouth, InBev just purchased AB!

Hope everything works out for AB's flight dept.....

Just saw tin the paper that they are being bought at by InBev and Belguim based company. Wonder what that will do to the flight department. Sold for 50 billion

One of our guys was just in recurrent with a few of their folks, and it sounds like they work pretty hard. 700-900 hours a year working 20-22 days a month. That is second degree info, though.

I've heard the same thing, too. They do a lot of STL-EUR trips with no relief pilot.

In STL, Emerson is the plum job. TC

Yeah, but then what do you fly? Do you keep the same aircraft? I can't imagine Auggie really cares about the $8-10 million he made the company.

Yeah, you keep the 900's and pocket the difference. I believe the 7X was to be a personal airplane, not for business. TC

It's been a long, good relationship, sure we had our bumps in the road, but it was good! Sorry you're selling out. Due to that decision I must stay American and go Miller (maybe Coors).

 Sorry to kill your American buzz, but Miller was purchased in 2002 by South African Breweries, hence the name SABMiller.

Coors is part of the Molson Coors Brewing Company after merging with the Canadian beer folks (though I think it's still primarily an American firm).

Welcome to globalization hell!

I talked to an Emerson guy a few weeks ago. Said they need help, bad. Probably gonna be a bunch of guys with the opportunity to walk right down the street into that one. Aren't their flight departments virtually mirror images of each other?

This is true....

I've heard the same thing. They've hired like 4-5 guys this year already and looking for more.

One of the guys I know there that just started 4/08 will be going to Falcon school by the end of the year. That used to be something that happened after you had 4-5 years under your belt.

There are some things that go on there that are interesting though.....like being on call to name one.

They are grade-A however.
