Having the gate agent do your dirty work (UAL jumpseat denials) is priceless.
Do you not have the BALLS to do it yourself, face to face cAPT?
Good luck with that jumpseat war.
Which head r u refering to? because mine has always been big in fact huge. :laugh:UPS pilots sure are getting big heads these days.
There shouldnt be any denial unless UAL gets the problem fixed before Aug 1st. You should be only getting a letter with your jumpseat request stating the problem from the Captain.

The UALMEC Jumpseat Committee, United Flight ops and the UAX manager from United are going to convene for a telephone conference on Thursday, July 10, 2008. We will advise these UAX members ONE LAST TIME of the difficulties and limitations associated with resolving these issues. We will also put to rest their beliefs that there are quick solutions as well. At the end of this meeting your jumpseat committee will advise these members that they will have one week from July 10th to rescind their decision to deny jumpseats to United pilots. We will also demand they notify the MEC in writing. If at the end of that week they have not reversed their decision, we will IMMEDIATELY do all within our power to prevent them from obtaining jumpseats on United flights. We will request management to instruct our agents to not process them for a jumpseat or issue them an OMC card.
In other words gate agents will immediately block all UAX pilots from the jumpseat. That means UAX and UAL flights, all this has accomplised is create a divide amongst pilot groups. This is what the UAX pilots have asked for, a jumpseat war with the UAL pilots, the UAL pilots don't control the jumpseat priority software and the UAL pilots acknowledge the fact that UAX pilots are supposed to have priority on UAX flights. The UAX pilots think there is some conspiracy to keep UAX pilots out of their own JS, not true, but the UAX ultimatem is not cool and is coming with a heavy consequence.
