Couldnt agree more!! :D

Look champ my posts typically dont include flames and i try to encourage an actual debate of the topics, YOU DONT. Your posts are full of hate and negative flamebait. You apparently are rooting for YOUR team and I am rooting for OUR team so be it. Eventually you will see this is coming whether you like it or not. If you choose to be pissed off and hateful throughout your career by all means have at it. I on the other hand have way to much time left in this career and at this company to let this get me bent out of shape and show hate towards either side. Thats not the type of guy i am and its not the type of guy i will become. I will be upfront and admit i want whats best for Everyone, meaning both sides and you have clearly shown you dont, so good luck with all that. cya around the water cooler bud

I for one am planning on giving my hat the 50 mission look the day I get it. That thing will get no respect from me...it will be shoved into the flight bag, dropped on the floor at every hotel, dragged behind my truck when I get home, etc.

Maybe one day the company will give up on that campy, movie prop, cheesy afectation POS. Until then it gets the hose...

Let's see Billy, you slam me for 5th grade reading and then proceed to misspell "received"......EVEN WITH THE FI SPELLCHECKER ENGAGED!!! Guess those Georgia public schools aren't so hot either!!!(I can stereotype too). You are too funny! BTW, I've never lived in MN or gone to school there (MI or TN either). You'd be surprised where I live;).

OK, now that that's been settled.....I agree that it would be great if the GROUP had received more, but I think what was secured is pretty reasonable, even from a DALPA standpoint, given the current environment we are in. More importantly, I don't believe that voting this down will result in more $ for anyone and could result in a lot less. Just my opinion.

It still seems to me that you are a little steamed that NWA is getting a bigger % raise than you even though the fact of the matter is that if you think parity is a requirement the math says NWA MUST get a bigger % raise than you.

320,

No spell checker here Scripps Tool satchel.......

You still don't see my point.....you got a raise...I DID NOT!!!! WE WE WE WE (READ IT!!) WE should have bumped it up further....instead NWA gets a windfall and I see nothing but a loser SLI being pushed into expedited arbitration (exactly what Stevens wanted from day one).....

There should have been more money in there....I could give a flying F*ck how much you got to make parity....at the end of the day, a DAL guy gets NADA, ZIP, ZERO other than double pay green slips and the pleasure of working off of your 1000 sick leave bank and generating revenue for your pension......ooooooo sign me up, this sounds like such a great deal!!

A windfall? NWA pilots are getting an average ~9% pay raise but a ~7% decrease in minimum guarantee for reserves and a ~13% decrease in min guarantee for line holders. Medical premiums are going to increase for us (approximately $200 per month increase for the same coverage). Defined contribution is being "harmonized." A less generous sick leave program. A less flexible trip trading system. We'll have to wear a hat. Losing 150% on anything over 80 hours. Sharing flow down slots if they're needed. Etc.

There's plenty of things for NWA pilots to be less than thrilled about. We don't live in a box though and world events, the economy, the health of the company and reality need to be weighed.

We already lost ~2% in DC and ~2% in pay since we couldn't play nice in February. You really believe we'll be able to do better if we can't play nice this time?

320,

You still don't see my point.....you got a raise...I DID NOT!!!! WE WE WE WE (READ IT!!) WE should have bumped it up further Speaking of READING Bill, go back and READ what I said in my response....skip over the part about your spelling and READ what I said after: "now that that's been settled"....I agree with you that getting more would be GREAT! I then offered my opinion that getting more is probably not possible in the current environment.....instead NWA gets a windfall (I get a 6.5% raise on the 320) and I see nothing but a loser SLI being pushed into expedited arbitration (exactly what Stevens wanted from day one).....define loser SLI
for us Bill.....what do you see being pushed that is unfair?
There should have been more money in there Sure.....that would be nice....how much more would satisfy you Bill? After you down this your negotiators are going to need some specifics as to what to go in and demand from Richard....I could give a flying F*ck how much you got to make parity (I personally REFUSE to refer to any DAL pilots here as "flying F*ck's")....at the end of the day, a DAL guy gets NADA, ZIP, ZERO..Soooo, LOA19 was NADA, ZIP, ZERO......got it other than double pay green slips and the pleasure of working off of your 1000 sick leave bankhow does that work Bill, we get our 6 figure sick leave balances converted to reduced premiums in your cheesy insurance plan that lasts, what 12 months max?Yeah, quite the windfall for us and generating revenue for your pensionyeah, too bad you gave yours up(that lump sum option sounded great...until 2000 of your brothers took it and doomed the plan for those left).....blame Federal law for having to maintain our plan post merger and the associated unfairness of it all......ooooooo sign me up, this sounds like such a great deal!!
Like I've said to you before (and you've ignored) VOTE NO and tell Lee to go out in the current abundant negotiating environment and GET MORE. M'Kay?

At least this JCBA has flow-back arrangements for DAL guys.

Furloughs are coming with or without a merger. I'll vote for a plan E for furloughees.

I hope we have the option of rejecting the flowback rubbish. I have better things to do with my time than flying for Compass. I would rather be Furloughed and getting payed a reasonable wage somewhere than flying for $24 an hour as a RJ FO.

I am not such a fan of any Airline to pay such a prize to keep my job.

Doing crap like that is what got the Airlines here in the first place. Guys ready to work for food stamps. With what end in mind I have no clue!!

Heyas SB,

FWIW, you flow down as a Captain to the top of the list. If you so desire, you can bypass to furlough.

I love the guys to go straight to the "jump to conclusions mat" before reading ANY of the information that both NALPA and DALPA are pumping out.

Nu

Do some research before pulling something out of your a$$ and posting. The flowback (if any at all) will go to the left seat making around $65 an hour. If you are so unhappy with the merger, why don't you quit bitc$ing and find another job? (I heard they are all hiring big time) All your whining about the merger is not gonna change a darn thing...

I see from your profile that you flew CRJ's, Beech 18's and King Air's. What did you make in those positions?

THANK YOU FOR PROVING TO EVERYONE YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHATS GOING ON AROUND YOU. EVIDENTLY YOU HAVE NO DESIRE TO GET INFORMED EITHER. PRETTY BIG WORDS FROM A GUY WHO JUST LEFT PINCHANICKLE AND YET IS TOO GOOD TO FLY AT A REGIONAL NOW . ALSO YOU SUCCESSFULLY PROVED THAT YOU HAVE NO CONCEPT ON HOW THE FLOWBACK WORKS. GET INFORMED, TALK WITH YOUR REPS AND AT LEAST GET EDUCATED BEFORE YOU MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE A BUFFOON. ;)

BY ALL MEANS HAVE A DIFFERNCE OF OPINION BUT AT LEAST GET INFORMED.

As of right now you shouldn't even be allowed to vote on this whole thing. That is how un-informed you are.

Windfall was the wrong choice of words.....proportional raise should have been the substitute....you are correct!!

I will vote no.....thanks for the "OK".....

Makes me misty how Lee was your enemy and now he's parting the Red Sea in your eyes.....kinda confused who he's representing, unless he's already made deals to run the combined turd.

I'll bet a lot of things make you "misty". Nope, we're still no fans of Lee, but at least we get to be part of the little LOA19 party that you guys were throwing for yourselves. And, since you like the fat chicks, all the more better at the party. I would suggest that he appears to be trying to represent ALL Delta pilots, including us new ones. You guys have gone from saying that he can down any merger, to "it's going to happen with or without us", to "he should have gotten us more".

Well it makes us misty that you stood behind him and your MEC this whole time because they were looking out for your best interest. However now suddenly you are skeptical of your leaders because they came through on their word and are trying to ensure this doesnt become the next USAIR. Why do you assume they aren't looking out for your best interests now? In order to get parity there is no mathematical way you can have everyone on the same pay rate but give the DAL guys more pay. Do you want a divided pilot group? You are already on the NO bandwagon without ever going to a roadshow and asking questions to your reps. How responsible is that?

I love messing with you guys. Pro merger fanatics. Well I am aware that it maybe to a captain seat but I still do not care for the position. The fact you guys have low expectations is a product of your background.

Sadly you know nothing about me. Stop trying to imagine who I am. He is this, he is that, bla bla bla.

I can have whatever opinion I choose to have and can also decide to vote no for no other reason than It is my right to choose.

The only guys jumping all over me are those getting a windfall:)

Just pulling your string or should I say jerking your chain. :)

Just the way it goes sometimes. You want to fly with me and the last thing I want is to fly with you.

Will have to live with it when the time comes. But I am not going to do a single thing to encourage something I believe is a raw deal for Delta Pilots.

Those getting the windfall can do all the cheer leading for the merger.

You Northwest guys always love to say the merger is going to happen no matter what, but you all seem so scared that voting no may hurt the merger.

I am sure Northwest is a great Airline I just wish you will keep Northwest your Northwest. The phrase sound familiar. I got the Idea from a Northwest Pilots screen name.

bla bla bla

I know the details of your flowback and you can keep it for all I care:)

All this merger cheer leading does get boring and very much the same drone bla bla bla.

I just go with the vibes I get from my pilot group and vote with the majority!

Right now this TA is creating some bad mojo on the property:laugh:

Too lazy to read behind the lines. I was not impressed by the bullet points and summary I got from the MEC.
I already know Delta PWA. Do not know what else I am expected to research before voting NO:beer:

Maybe you guys should go to your MEC and suggest them giving something to the Delta side. May work better than threaten us with losing our relationship with RA and you guys getting your own LOA19 blabla bla

Sadly you know nothing about me. Stop trying to imagine who is he bla bla bla. Lets see, recent new hire at DAL, came from Pinnacle, African American, Flys the 767, commutes from MSP to JFK, and acts as though he is better than everyone at NWA. Am i close?;) Not as anonymous as you thought?

I can have whatever opinion I choose to have and can also decide to vote no for no other reason than It is my right to choose. I agree, its also your responsibility to get informed and educated before voting.

The only guys jumping all over me are those getting a windfall Not a windfall, its called parity. And you have plenty of DAL people "jumping" all over you on this forum and APC for your comments. :)

Thanks for the debate

Thanks for the debate

Do not give up your day job!! Detective.

Really I am not really trying to hide my Identity. Easy to figure out who I am and I could care less. I would be very happy to express my feelings to anyone who chooses to ask me. I have a right to those feelings.

The only guys jumping all over me on this website are Northwest pilots.

In your very imaginative mind you wish it were Delta guys. Sorry your out of luck:)

Again be responsible and look around you, ask questions to your reps, read the info thats provided to you and then vote as you see fit. Just make an educated vote instead of voting because you have a mental stigma against NWA. ;)

Funny how the "vocal" DAL pilots are relatively junior. Why is that?

Not that Junior here.....but could you blame them??

Lots of old NWA jets ready to park and the expedited arbitration plan makes the Delta junior people eat them.....but lets not go round and round like in other threads about what's going to be parked when.....simple economics show those DC-9's are as good as gone......heck, those 10's that NWA bought in 2000 were supposed to be around for decades right???

The new overtime scheme means more pickups by us greedy senior guys which then eliminates the need to
carry as many bodies.....The airline will furlough while the union looks the other way while people pick up trips with guys on the street.

Do I need to go on???

Expedited Arbitration....exactly what "Doctor" Stephens ordered...

So ask again?? Why should a junior Delta guy be worried???

Do you people read???

Seriously, comprehend this: Nobody is saying that "mathematically" we (Real Delta) need a bigger percentage AND get parity.....again, the laws of math do not allow this.....What I was saying was while you guys threw your fits like a 3 year old and our house went into letter 19 with a pissant raise, once you guys matched us (PARITY) WE SHOULD HAVE ALL RECIEVED A PERCENTAGE MORE AFTER THAT POINT......

LOA 19 was a stepstone, not the cornerstone.....WE WE WE WE WE WE WE (after parity) should have received more as a group for this round of negotiations......as a result, I see a small piddly raise under a longer term and a JPWA which delivers nothing but an overtime ponzi scheme to a real Delta guy....

Do I want parity?? Absolutely!!! You should have been brought up to LOA 19 wages and THEN the union should go get more AFTER that point instead of using LOA 19 as our pay scheme....

Brought to you by the same people who insisted that there is such a thing as "ULTRA PREMIUM WIDE-BODY FLYING" (Ta-daaa)

Clear as mud?? Good, cause we'll have plenty of time to discuss it over 30 west....
