It has now been SEVEN weeks since anyone has been invited to class! Have they shut down training or what? Does anyone have any clue as to why they continue to interview but won't call the successful candidates and offer them a class?

Chill Felix, they hired 3 classes in May (4/28, 5/12 and 5/19) OK, one of those (8 people) actually started in Apr, but the total is about 42 bodys. FltSafety only has so many slots for a/c training. I don't mean to seem callous because I was where you are a couple of months ago. There is nothing you can do to affect this, so you just have to wait.

How dare they. They obviously don't know who you are or I'm sure a Rolls would have pulled up with a gold leaf invitation offering you the senior BBJ slot at 20 year pay.

yes they are still hiring....

relax and enjoy life

Talked to Derrinda very recently, they are still hiring for the rest of the year. They have been asked to hold off with offers for August classes temperarly while they get things in order, but the offers for Aug and Sept will be going out soon. They are just a little backed up right now.

What seems to be the average wait for an accepted e-mail for a guy that has no internal recs?

If it's any indication, a number of former Aloha guys got called for phone interviews, but they all had recs.

I applied before them with no internal recs, still waiting... not only that, but I'm on my 2nd application - they never even called me on the first one which was sent in the summer of 2006.

I was offered a July class the the second week of May. That doesnt seem like 7 weeks to me! Be patient. No news is good news until you get bad news which is bad.

only an observation, but it seems without internal rec, the chances of an interview are very low and rare. good luck and keep trying regardless.

I'd be applying to XO Jet and Citation Shares.

I have had 4 buddies of mine go to XO because they simply didn't hear from NJA in a timely way. Fine, it just proves we are behind the power curve and its going to cost us in quality F/O's.

2005 to 2007 did enough damage, people hired with a domicile choice in mind....now this!!!!!

NJA simply doesn't have its sh!t together regarding interviews and as a result we are losing some of the "cream of the crop"

If you have time to spare....NJA.....

If you need to meet the mortgage....screw NJA, go somewhere else.

Serious Question:

If the '05 contract was better than the POS, and better than the previous, doesn't that mean the quality of people hired before '05 was less than those after?

Get off your horse, Jerk.

Been waiting over 6 months for an interview, no internal rec. and now starting to believe it might be a necessity to get an interview at netJets and pretty near everywhere ellse for that matter. Things have turned in a hurry.

It would be nice if they could put up a proper "fill in the blanks" PDF application up on the website and a way to submit resume and cover letter electronically. The way they do it now is quite "1990s." It would help folks be nice and neat with the data entry and, considering the number of applicants, I think it would help the recruiters out as well by reducing the amount of paper.

Not to mention who's more dedicated to the cause.

That's what I'm talkin' bout.

But that's just how I Roll. :pimp:

how does it reduce the paper? Its still the same forms whether or not you typed it electronicly, typewriter, or just old fashioned pen to paper it. Even if they recieved it all by email, they probably then have to print it out and stick it in your file.
