well now the pilot group has ALL the leverage....its time to kick AZZ and take names!!!!!! BWAHAHAHa we're not letting MGT get off that easy.

You've got to be kidding.

If Mesa pilots hold a strike vote with the stock price in the tank and after an unprofitable quarter, they just might demonstrate they have the cojones to actually "kick azz".

I don't see it happening. No one else here does either. This is the reason Mesa pilots are the joke of the industry. Not the backpacks, not the hair gel, not the "boards".

Mesa pilots are a joke because they're union labor that refuses to play hardball because they're afraid they might lose. So they take the scraps that JO gives them and whine about how everything is everyone else's fault. It happened last time around, and it will happen again this time.

To quote Braveheart "Men follow courage."

Holy Friggin' Cow pdub20s, what are you smoking? What exactly makes you think we have ALL the leverage? Even if we did have ANY leverage whatsoever, do you think this worthless MEC is going to do anything about it? Heck, our MEC chair is probably out playing golf with JO right now....or doing "other" things with him.

Oh c'mon on, give Pdub a break! He probably was so happy he spilled his Schaffer Light on his stupid Abercrombie and Fitch "Save a cherry, pop a collar" t-shirt. So after he walked to the local Duds and Suds, he scraped enough change together to grab one more drink before he walked to the library and used his privileges to sign on to the internet to spew this garbage.

Or he could just be a TFK who doesn't need the money, just wants to fly them jets.

Either way, MESA SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

You hit the nail on the head, Soverytired. It is sad, but very true. The funny thing is that everyone seems to grow a pair when they are safely in the confines of the crew room or the cockpit.

My 2 cents....It seems like all of the non-mesa pilots talk like they created the industry and mesa rueined it for them but yet they themself have done nothing. One question for you then...have you ever been on strike with your job at risk? If so speak freely you deserve it!!!!, all you other bandwagon losers grow up and shut up until you grow some balls of your own and can prove you actually sacrificed something of your own to help improve the industry. The only people I know that did this recently are the comair guys of a few years ago, and this does NOT include the present comair guys hired since then. I am still waiting for you to give back something....besides your big mouth. Skywest has screwed ASA, Midway, and soon Expressjet, so you guys are not any better right now. Yeah you can control managenment, go on strike or do a sickout.... Same goes for any airline. Rather then talking trash about the mesa guys why don't you try to help them understand how better everywhere else is and do something productive for once....Support your fellow pilots to save this freaken industry!

On strike with your job at risk? There haven't been any strikes since Comair, but there have been a few near strikes. Either way, nothing since 2001 to my knowledge. There aren't many 2001-era regional pilots that are still regional pilots; and the ones that are probably aren't on Flightinfo. The question is what groups out there would be willing to take it to the picket line? No one will know until it happens (or almost happens), but I'm pretty sure it's not Mesa.

If they did I'd be right beside them on their picket line, though!

Exactly what makes you think that DL won't cancel your contract anyway and pay the fee? They don't want the flying anymore. It's not being replaced.

I wouldn't get too comfortable. Hell, nobody at any regional should get too comfortable.

There is a lot more bloodshed to be had.

Because even DL can't write a 500 M check

I know that many pilots are fvcking morons, so for those of you who have no real grasp of the world,

preliminary injunction
n. a court order made in the early stages of a
lawsuit or petition which prohibits the parties
from doing an act which is in dispute, thereby
maintaining the status quo until there is a final
judgment
after trial.

I guess some consider that skyrocketing in the aviation industry!!

You dont call an 80% rise in less than 30 minutes skyrocketing? Yesterday Mesa was .47 went up to .92 in just a few minutes and now sitting at .69. I bet it sees over a dollar next week for another good chunk of money in my day trade portfolio, as much of a cockroach JO is, his stupidity and mismanagement is making me a ton of money right now!

You were long MESA? WOW, bigger balls than I have and I was shorting oil futures.
