This part is incorrect. On OO equipment, OO pilots go first. I am sure that most other airlines are the same. From what I understand, the exception is TSA holdings pilots. Evidently TSA holdings ( Trans States and goo-jets) is giving the United pilots priority in their cockpit jumpseats over their own pilots. To sort of reciprocate, United is giving priority of their cockpit jumpseats to TSA holdings pilots over other express carriers. Why Mesa and Colgan got the big shaft, I don't know.

Is it just me or does that sound like a very bad deal?

You just said above TSA has an agreement and then you say otherwise in your 2nd paragraph? If you are talking about SKW jumpseat and then a TSA got on it before a SKW person yes then that makes sense that company should get it before. But if you are talking a skywest plane and seats in the back and a TSA person getting on it before a SKW that makes sense. Its how MANY priority systems work out there. The seats in back your company has no control over. However mainline has it set up is how its set...... Jumpseat is the only thing your company can control as your company operates that AC.

I was refering to the cockpit jumpseat.

Depends how you look at it. If you are a transstates holdings pilot, and you don't commute online, it is an ok deal. If your home city was served only by mainline, and there are alot of other UAX commuters, you just passed them in priority.

Giving the UAL pilots priority in the cabin would sound more logical than the jump seat??? That however is even a stretch of the imagination. If any captain of any of the regionals gives jump seat priority to a UAL pilot over their own company employee, than that captain needs to have their priority's set straight!!!!

I know in the past, the USair agreement use to be Mainline pilots got priority in the Cabin. Company employees always got priority over mainline regarding the jump seat. Now Employees of the flying airline have priority over Mainline all the way around.

The problem at many stations is they are operated by UAL or Air Whisky or Comair and they don't give a crap about what the SkyWest FOM says. Often times agents won't let a jumpseater down to talk to the captain. That's why on turns I will make every effort to walk up the jetbridge and let myself be seen in the gate area, and hopefully any jumpseaters will be able to approach me. I'm not going to let TSA or Go Jets or UAL mainline in my jumpseat ahead of a company pilot and my FOM backs me up on that. The hard part is often getting by the over worked gate agent who doesn't have time to deal with it.

Isnt this how it happens any ways? If not perhaps your fellow pilots should call your scheduling department ahead of time and get placed on that jumpseat. Then the gate agent would not matter? Makes sense to me! Now if its last second and then your pilot comes up as the door is closing I would have to say the hell to ya and whoevers there is there. Not going to let them wait to the last second and boot someone who got their early. But that's me.

And as soon as you upgrade you can do just that!

Oh ok? How about you get your ass where you need to be ahead of time instead of screwing someone if the flight is full? Novel concept ass clown.
Azz clown, the goal is to leave on time and arrive on time, guess you never had to park in the penalty box,
oh wait there is no penalty box in MSFS.
PBR

Does anyone else wonder why TSA and HoJet are getting priority over the other carriers, or is it just me?
