You NWA boys need to take what your MEC is saying with a grain of salt. Apparently these bumbling idiots are spreading a lot of half truths and lies to their pilot group and that is doing nothing, but generating a lot of bad blood between the Delta and NWA pilots. I guess war is the only way they know. Unfortunate.

This from the group that said "NO WAY" to arbitration only to reverse course thus costing their own pilots millions of dollars and contract improvements had they agreed to it in early 2008.

Spin it boys, spin it.

no spin

DALPA has not "reversed course". A merger was announced and if we can’t negotiate a SLI we will be forced into arbitration per the ALPA merger policy.

DALPA never reversed course on SLI. That's the convenient lie you've been fed.

BTW, we captured most of the premerger value, it was your no show MEC that cost you big time. Oh well, we'll see if we can dig you out of the hole you've put yourself in.

Yeah, thanks for aiding DAL management with that. We would have all had more money had Moak not done a 180, per Richard Anderson (good boy, Lee, now jump, bark)

Working with management, what a frickin joke. What a short memory and overblown vision of self worth.

You can do better with the spin than that, can't you?

Looks like my HOPES of bidding the DC9 this Winter for Minot layovers may be DASHED..... Come on guys, get that SLI done! (Relative seniority too!) Maybe I can really SPIN on some ice in the MSP ramp NEXT Winter....:(

Bye Bye--General Lee

It must be nice to think you have a clear picture. I think the truth may lie in the middle. You're so quick to attack nwa pilots, who aren't so different from DAL pilots. It's that attitude that makes post merger cockpit conversations no fun. I'm glad I left.

You left? Too bad. We are going to have a FANTASTIC time. I plan on buying all of my future NWA FO's every third and fifth beer we have on layovers, especially in Cabo and Cancun, BABY!!! Maybe Occam can teach me to "manage" an A320 in the sim?

That's funny! It reminds me of my conversation with a DAL captain who was hoping I could talk to his son... "he doesn't have the time to be a Delta pilot, so I'm hoping he can spend some time at a place like UPS and then come over here." Yeah... I left.

The total value of the company. Estimates range from 10-17.5 billion.

That's funny. Wall street thinks it's $3.9 billion. And that's the ACTUAL (not an estimate) value of both companies.

NWA - 1.88B market cap today
DAL - 2.02B market cap today

Yeah, thanks for aiding DAL management with that.

We didn't aid DAL management, we just don't believe your inacation has veto power over our negotiations, with our management, over our contract.

We would have all had more money had Moak not done a 180, per Richard Anderson (good boy, Lee, now jump, bark)

You're right that we would have all had more money, but unfortunately you lost out because you sent the leadership abdication team( NALPA merger committee) to a negotiation. How many members of the merger committee advisory board are rquired to look over their shoulders, is it 10 or 12.

Moak never did a 180. Like I said, that's the lie you've been fed.

Working with management, what a frickin joke. What a short memory and overblown vision of self worth.

Not working with management at all, working towards effective representation.

No spin, just the facts.

Under the current stock valuation. I agree I think that they are overly optimistic, but it will be more that 6 billion.

It must be nice to think you have a clear picture.

Just facts. The picture gets clearer the more you use them.

I think the truth may lie in the middle. You're so quick to attack nwa pilots, who aren't so different from DAL pilots.

I don't think the truth lies in the middle, the truth is the truth. A Half a truth is a whole lie.

I agree the NWA pilots aren't much different than DAL pilots.

It's that attitude that makes post merger cockpit conversations no fun.

Sorry, I don't pander just to have a nice cockpit conversation.

I'm glad I left.

Me too.
