We're agreeing far too often today.![]()
Carter is going to be looked back upon as a good president who understood foreign policy at a very high level.. he was a victim of the times and his presidency was marred by a lot of work affairs that he had no control over.
In the end, he made peace with Jordan, Egypt and Israel that to this day is solid and strong with full diplomatic relations between the 3.
But I'm sure Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be open to diplomacy from someone who has hardly any international experience and less than 1 term as a senator
Funniest thing I have read all Day thanks for the laugh, How were his negotiation skills with Iran back at the end of his presidency. I believe there are a few former hostages that might disagree with you about Carter. Also, Most people believe that the leader of the student group that took the US Hostages is none other than there current President. But I'm sure Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be open to diplomacy from someone who has hardly any international experience and less than 1 term as a senator
McCain will destroy the profession
"strategery"
W = Worst President in history
stay the course....not
mission accomplished....not
The profession has largely been destroyed already....Now we are talking about destroying what is left of the Republic if Obama gets in....
as always you're 1/2 right.
You're being far too generous. John is rarely even 1/16th right.
He really is a nice guy actually and I liked him a lot when I was at ASA... He just picked the wrong side in the critical battle that has since lead to the end of any growth in the mainline and the eternal battle between regional and mainline, and the subsequent decline in wages and work rules.. Forgivable in my book![]()

Everything is forgivable, but only if forgiveness is asked for. John refuses to even admit fault, so it's hard to "forgive" him. He should be expelled from the Association, nice guy or not.
