How about a flight department that has had 22 people leave in last 3 years, 6 in last 6 months. Getting better? Depends on what your definition of better is............"Depends on what your definition of is is"
 
Just another flight department run by ex-military micromanagers wanting all the pilots to come in on there days off to work on "special projects" to reinvent the wheel. Whatever...get over yourselves.

Spot on Webslinger. They don't all have to be ex-military however, some can be ex-eastern scabs.
 
So what is the deal with Yum, why such a high turnover rate. Do they type you in the plane when they hire you? What is the schedule like, any hard days off or is it a "on call" all the time type of job. any info would be appreciated.
 
We don't have any ex-military or ex-airline scabs running my department, just regular project-loving micro-managing managers.


Sounds so familiar. How about "if I could only have 5 more like me". Well it would eliminate a lot of stress in the cockpit and you would always know where you are going to have dinner.

Micromanagers. Thin the herd, please.

- Pilots required to clean aircraft and service lavs
- No hard days off
- MANY special projects, short notice meetings, etc
- Mechanics and schedulers are priveledged, cannot be questioned by pilots
- Had serious safety audit w/in last year w/ mult problems noted
- Can keep no one of any quality, leftovers are people who would have problems getting jobs elsewhere
 
Yum leaves a bad taste...

The root of the problem starts at the very top and trickles down from there. Until that changes... well, enough stated.
 
It appears their top floor needs some house cleaning...Hopefully that will happen before a safety issue arises.....

I see that they have an office in Atlantic Aviation in SNA. I always thought they were in Louisville?
