He lives out west, but would most likely move into any base except JFK.
A good friend has offers at both airlines and is torn as to which one to choose. Any help from those who work there or who have recently left would be appreciated.
we have FOs who've left Eagle, Horizon, Comair, etc. after years. I know a Horizon guy who was there for 6 years before coming to SkyWest.
go somewhere, get your time, then come to SkyWest.
Are you retarded or just stupid?
I have been doing a lot of research on SkyWest. I was considering working there but I believe that the time to go to work for SkyWest has come and gone.we have FOs who've left Eagle, Horizon, Comair, etc. after years. I know a Horizon guy who was there for 6 years before coming to SkyWest.

Again, who do you fly for? I thought you were going to the Middle East?Well I was offered the job while I was at Eagle, I turned it down. You can make fun of SIU all you want. I dont work in the regional industry.
I am happy to fly for the person I do, the owner understands a pilots worth. I am paid very, very well. Have plenty of days off, company phone, laptop, credit card, great 401K. I could not ask for anything else from this industry. I understand that you may be a bit jealous, but hey maybe you will get that break someday. And I dont pour drinks, thats what the hot flight attendant is for!
Why would you start up a thread from almost a year ago. Dubya all you got is lame ******************** talk about SIU. Your comebacks suck.
I came back from Dubai last month. I really enjoyed the flying, but however I hated-HATED living in that sh!t hole place in the middle of the desert!
Money was tax free, actually up to 87,500 as an Ex-pat, but only being there 4.5 months I never made that.
I have seen all your posts about this "new job"...when one tends to brag and constantly point out that they have the greatest job on the planet, one tends to believe you're full of it.
