And yet they do this all the time with those pieces of trash. Absolutely hell on earth for the pax.

Dude, you're telling me! Try sitting in the left front seat from CLE-ABQ. At least the passengers can get up at will and stretch their legs a little bit.

A list of bad ideas in avaiation:

1) Four hour flights in RJs
2) Eight hour flights in 737s
3) Sixteen hour flights in ANYTHING!

I'm sure that's how the passengers feel after one of your landings Scrapdog. Especially if the weather wasn't VFR. LOL

I heard CAL will be putting winglets on their tugs and employee lot shuttles.

The 737-900 aka "Jumbo Guppy"

Did they at least make the wing bigger or do we all just we have to get out of the way of the 737 doing 184 knots on short final?

It looks like the 900ER has some flap and aerodynamic changes that are designed to keep the speeds down. We havent gotten the perf charts yet, but I assume that should be pretty quick

FYI a 900 (regular) at max gross landing weight comes down final at 156 kts at flaps 30. Fun Fun!
