Yes they are going to retrofit the current 900's with winglets. We already have 1 flying around already. The 757-300's are going to get them as well. Don't know when the first one will go down for the fitting though. They will look ugly with them I might add.

IAHERJ

Where'd you hear the 75-3s were getting winglets? I thought it would require a new STC and the cost of doing that isn't worth it since so few -300s are in service.

I think I heard it from the company in the form of a daily news update. Could be wrong though. Hope I am.

Yeah I think it was some of the 73-300s that are getting the winglets (they ones we are keeping)...

The slaveships are staying flatwinged last I heard. Has something to do with a new STC because the wing is actually a little different on the 75-3 vs the 200 model. There just aren't enough -300s out there in the world to justify the development costs.

Cal 777's to get winglets. Boeing working on them now. Waiting for 787's on property because they cant afford to pull 777 offline to do so.

Yeah but 7.5 hours straight in the front of a 73 will make most grown men weep. Or at least deaf.

i did 7:45 a few months ago, ord-anc in a 73-800...wanted to kill myself. the cockpit was not designed for that, fo sho...

Eight hour flight in a 73, that's insane.

That's right up there with a four hour flight in an RJ.

Neither being a good idea.

And yet they do this all the time with those pieces of trash. Absolutely hell on earth for the pax.
