Ok the age thing has passed

So, let's start a debate: What do you have to do to get out of the union?

U can't. Its not that easy. You can stop participating but dues will still be taken at most companies. All the current ALPA leadership should be removed. You should work to that end!
 
Proceed with dues check-off..........do not send money when statement arrives in mail......after a while they get pissed off and start threatening you......tell them that due to stagnation with this age 65 bullspit, you have a financial hardship and can only afford $10 / month......

Out of curiousity, will you be negoiating your own CBA when your current one expires?

I have been furloughed three times in the past 7 years. The first time because of the greed of the top 20% of the seniority list and last two times because of the idiot MEC f@@@@ up management skills.

Unfortunately the only way is to quit.

Due to the corruption within ALPA and their extortionist tactics, that's your only option.
