That's only because the MIA agents migrated to PBI... Anyone remember those guys?

The most pain in the butt agents I had to deal with were in TMB. One day, those two agents hold me and my pax (my boss and his buddy) for 2 hours for stupid reasons. What they didn't know was that my pax were super connected. A few weeks later, they got moved to the terminal E at MIA
No more Direct TV and private office for those two...

I've only been to First once since they opened the new facility. I think they had much better service than any time in the past.

I have to disagree about first. I hated going to the old building. But since the move I have had nothing except positive service. Yeah the walk is long to the west side of the ramp but most NetJets pilots, like me, need the exercise.

I cringe when I have to go through customs at PBI. One day we had 5 pax and a ton of bags. We ferried in from the Bahamas to clear customs at PBI and then continue north bound. After sweating to get all the bags into the plane in the Bahamas, we arrived in PBI. Customs wanted all the bags off the plane, so we begrudgingly took all the bags off the plane and onto several carts. The customs guy glanced over at the carts said "that's fine, you can take them away", and went on to doing other things. We then took the bags that we just unloaded and struggled to get them all back on the plane. nice.

You know, the guys at Signature PBI are happy to come on over and help you do the unload/reload shuffle. Pain in the ass, but much less so with some help.

I must be the minority but I have always had a good experience at PBI. Besides my home base it is one of the easiest and fastest customs locations that we routinely clear. In fact one day one of the inspectors had me pull a little prank on the inspector that was going to clear us. Something about 135K! I was a little hesitant to go along with it but they all found it very funny. All in all they seem like good folks.

The best food is at remote locations, because they don't know how to make crewfood, so they make it over the top.

Riding on American period. The TSA and the CDG Hilton. But I do enjoy going to work. "O" yea and Air France.

+1 for the meatball hero! That thing is probably my favorite new item out of all our regional selections. The mousse aint bad either. Try the deep dish at MDW or DPA if you get a chance, yummy!

Amen brother.... The airlines blow hard. I will be trying to come home the day before thanksgiving, anyone want to lay odds on if I make it. I'm saying 50/50, lower if I end up out east.

The one good thing about clearing customs is the hottie agent at MIA has anyone else seen her???

F customs. My favorite part is an agent with a last name of Ruiz, Rodriguez, Gonzales, etc, who have a strong ethnic accent giving ME $hit. I'm probably you're neighbor Pepe. Oh yeah, I was born here too.

Airlining and TSA. Good company overall, but you are a professional airline passenger as an integral part of your job. The negatives of today's airline passenger experience are front page/national news. You will be right there in the thick of it at the busiest airline terminals, trying to make connections, being hassled by TSA, etc. Net Jets Pilot = "SSSS", as far as TSA is concerned. Anyway, if you are okay with being a professional airline passenger and okay with the TSA pat-downs...
Racking up airline travel miles or points means nothing to me as being an airline passenger is the last thing I'd want to do on my time off from a job which required me to be a professional airline passenger.
So, airlining (and TSA).

I think those guys in PBI move between MIA and FLL all the time. All 3 suck but PBI the most. Anyone ever have the run in with the heavy set guy with a mustache and glasses? We didnt have our Private aircraft arrival forum so I grabbed one to fill out and he refuse to take it and would not let us leave. Held us there for 45 mins with our Pax sitting outside in the heat before he was finally "nice" and let us clear.

Strakes, Winglets, Stabilions, Ventral Fins and Tailets are AWESOME!!

That thing corrects itself during an engine failure. NOT!!!

It also has autofeather and rudder boost assist (if I remember correctly) .... and it's still a handfull.
