NMB board met with both sides seperatly this morning and by this afternoon negotiations had resumed here in the ATL area. Some good progress is being made. They are planning to work late into the night and continue negotations thru Fri.

Thats all for now.

Its a caucass to decide when to have a meeting, which decides when the meeting is. Clear as mud?

Looks like the company won this round again and got more play time through Friday at least. Hopefully they will continue to, as the SPC says, make progress.

No matter what the pay rates and work rules are the contract is worth noting unless there is a good merger and fragmentation section. IE iron clad. If it is not there, they will transfer the assets so fact it will make your head swim.

Well, that's dissappointing. Hopefully our management can find Atlanta.

It is 9:30p ET and we are still at the table. There is some dialogue on Scope and Duty Rigs. We will update you when we have more information to report. Remember, the only official and factual source of ALPA Pilots negotiations is from an MEC source like this Connection email, the ASA ALPA Crewroom website, or the ASA Pilots Negotiating Facts website. Other sources like the web boards and company updates are NOT official ALPA MEC Negotiating facts.[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]

I didn't think this was a neg. session. I thought it was just some powow infront of the members of the NMB. I guess they are trying to get some stuff done?

A man can dream.....

Management will show just enough movement to keep the NMB off their backs.....again. We should have walked out again.

It is 1100p ET and we are done for the night. There was some agreement in language in Section 1 scope. We were able to match a few concepts. However the larger issues remain open.
We finished the evening with a general agreement in concept on Duty Rigs. We will write language in the morning to see if we can match our verbal concepts.
We will update you further tomorrow when we have more information to report.

The company said it was going to be negotaitions, but the union said it was just a meeting with the NMB. I guess the evil company was right. How dare they tell the truth.
